I may or may not get the Pass. But I'll be waiting until the first DLC is announced and about to come out to make that decision. No rush. No drama.

(Just like I'm not bothering to pre-order the game until a couple weeks before.)

...not sure why XB Marketplace is jumping the gun like this. Perhaps they couldn't put up the "full package" Game+Pass bundle, without also putting the separate Pass? Eh, whatever.

I think skipping the pass is a great idea even know some may consider it not a good idea to skip because the dlc prices might be more buying the standalone dlcs when they come out which is early next year, if you pre-order the game you get fallout 3 for free and also can played on xbox one. I myself will buy the dlcs by themselves just like i did with both fallouts before.

it is a way to make ppl that normally not buy the DLC to buy it, most ppl will never end buying the DLC for game, so season pass make then do it.

Lets be real, when it come down to fan of the series, they end getting the DLC no meter what, so if u want u save 10$ if not u end spending 40 on 1 year waiting for each DLC and buying it separated

I will be waiting. I don't mind paying a little more to know what I'm getting.

I'm sure I'll pick up the season pass somewhere between game launch and the first DLC drops.

I don't like this newest trend of "buy now, then find out what you've bought when we're ready to reveal it." Buying games is becoming more and more like gambling, when they don't even tell us anything about it but still expect our money. Paying for DLC that doesn't exist before the actual game is even out is an even more disgusting turn for the DLC cash-grab to take. I typically buy things once I've actually seen it and know just what I'm throwing my money away for. If the game isn't [censored] I'll end up just buying any DLC later down the track when it actually exists, thanks...

I'll play the game first before I make any decision on DLCs.

Of course, there's no incentive being given for ordering now, so no-one's being forced to do it. (Like I said, I'll be waiting until we know more)

...unlike, say, those games that have "As more people pre-order, we unlock bigger prizes!" promos :ermm: . Those are "encouraging" people to pre-order. (Squenix just abandoned their crazy one for Deus Ex because it pissed people off too much.)

With Skyrim there were some people who were asking for a season pass. It was not possible at the time due primarily to exclusivity deals with Xbox. This is merely a way to give those people and like minded people a chance to purchase said pass. If you are not one of those people it impacts you not at all.

No conspiracy to steal your money, no evil conversion into the typical AAA money hungry dev. Just a simple OPTION.

It's NOT a pre-order thingie. It's a method to get a discount.

You do realize you can buy the season pass after all DLCs are released?

But that would mean waiting until after all the DLCs are released

Not going to happen...

No waiting for me; I'm pre-ordering the season pass as soon as it's available for PC. Bethesda has a great record with DLC (minus the horse armor) - especially Fallout (even though New Vegas wasn't exactly Bethesda). They have earned my trust especially since they've stated that the season pass will include all DLC for Fallout 4 ever. My trust in them is theirs to lose and I have no reason to expect F4 will be any different.

Now that said, it's 1) only $30, and 2) I'm incredibly confident that at the very least, I will feel I got my money's worth so I don't view it as a huge risk. There's virtually no possibility that I'll feel 100% of my money was wasted. In fact, I'll assume that they'll have at least two content DLCs that I'll absolutely love. That means I stand to "lose" $10 at most. Not a big deal to me. Now consider that at $20, there's still $20 left of DLC. Even if I enjoy just half of that, it means that I came out even cost-wise.

So, no waiting for me.

...yeahhh, I'm usualy there on day one for DLC.

...I actually would stay up pretty late to get DLC at Midnight and play till...2,3 in the morning.

Heck, I remember when Shivering Isles came out, it released at midnight, and some people got it downloaded, while others got their downloads cancled midway because around then XBOX Live decided to have a 24 hour maintenance.

Yep...decent price for the season pass and they said that even if they do more than planned it'll all be included anyway....no shenanigans. Can't wait to be able to get it on PS4.

Personally i will be preordering the season pass for XBOX digital copy.

Get all the DLC as its released, make a saving on the cost of the season pass by getting it in the bundle. Seems like a win win for me.

Yeah this is pretty much how I feel. Bethesda almost always delivers when it comes to DLC. They still hold true to straight up extra content, not tiny little packs. Obsidian strayed a bit with the Couriers Stash and the Gunrunners Arsenal packs, but...The Gunnrunners packs was actually pretty cool...

Wow. That's impressive. I wouldn't be able to be on these forums seeing people post about the game knowing I was going to have to wait a year+ for all the DLC to come out and bundle into a GOTY edition.

I look to DLC for stuff I can take back into the game that I need and want in the game, so I will wait for the reviews on the DLC and what you can bring back. Weapons, armor, power armor, tools, loot, why not bots?

Is there any reason you could not bring back bots that simply follow your orders or instructions, maybe have a limited vocabulary, or does that have to be a mod?
