Do you think we will be seeing any gameplay footage of F4 at the conference?

There is a rumour that there will be a 15 minute demo of the game.....hopefully there will some demos (like Bioware did for Dragon Age Inquistion) of the gameplay in the months to come.

Tho I still think all of this is still making a hen out of a feather I doubt we wi get much origin info at the E3 demo, besides a quick note that you're a vault dweller, which neither denies or confirms your theory. The demo is obviously gonna focus on gameplay and will use a pre made character, most likely somewhere mid level with some mid level gear, most likely only show a side quest (if any) to keep the main story under wraps.

I'm sure they will have something for fallout. I just find it a bit off that literaly in the middle of a literal live twitch fed mike test they decided to bring them in for a rehearsal . Either that was deliberately planed or a last min thing because suddenly they realise that a one hour show that they had planned to be about multiple properties coming out Over the next 15-20 months with Maybee 10 min total being about fallout, was now being thought of by the public as a one hour exclusively fallout4 special ex-travagaza

Between FO3 & FONV, I have more time invested than in any other game series, well over 1000 hrs at this point (this includes many FO mod's). My expectations are high, meaning that the game has matured overall, the engine has been vetted properly and that I'll have a great experience once again. Going in, I expect there to be technical issues, would be a fool not to given the magnitude of past iterations, but I'm ok with that under the assumption that they will be addressed quickly.

With multiple games being announced, maybe we will get a brief outline of Fallout 4 at the conference. This would most certainly include the release date (which I still think is going to be 23rd October), and also possible confirmation of the pre-war and post-war setting, details of a new engine, revised combat system and perhaps an enhanced version of radiant AI. We could then maybe see a full gameplay demo during the main E3 show.

If so, do you think this would be during the conference or the main show?

The rumour is that the showcase will include the 15 min gameplay demo, I'd expect there to more Fallout info released at E3 during the usual interviews.

Awesome. I really want to find out at the very least if pre-war gameplay is confirmed.

Will the entire stream be viewable after the event? I have no interest on staying up until 3AM.

Nah, they booked their own conference which means they intend to show something substantial there, which a Dishonoured 2 announcement alone ain't gonna cut. If they were going to do Fallout during the E3 event itself like with Skyrim, then why bother booking your own conference at all?

I'm sure the conference will be the big gameplay reveal, and E3 itself will be press/interviews.

There is a countdown timer http://www.e3countdown.com/ that would make it 3am on Monday in the UK.

Right so E3 is today right? On the 14th? When exactly is Bethesda holding their thing? And on what coast of the US are they holding it?

Oh, well screw that then, I won't be able to know what went on until tomorrow no matter what I do so I might as well just go on with my day.

Back on topic... I'm not really sure what to expect for later on, I'm just finally glad after the long wait we have some f4. I'd like for about 30 mins of gameplay to be shown but I won't hold my breath, probably more of talking up the game, which concerns me slightly as Todd has said stuff before which has turned out to be a lot of hot air.

Hopefully Bethesda have learned their lesson on that one this time round. I would like to think that anything they do announce or show us is not just an in-progress wishlist but fully implemented gameplay. Judging by the in-engine appearance of the trailer, I'm inclined to believe that we'll be shown the real deal.

Yeah I was just talking to a friend about that, he's of the assumption that there could be about 10 mins or so of proper in game footage shown, but I'm not too hopeful really. I just keep thinking there will be a very short video of some kind and we will get drip fed more info leading up to a 20...17 release date :P
