Fallout 4 questions oooo :o !

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 1:03 am

Okay big question I'm sure most of us or we all want to know!!!!

In fallout 3 when you leave the vault 101 you can't re-enter it unless you do that quest that allows you back in after that you can't go back again..

Will in fallout 4 we be allowed to go in and out of are normal vault as much as possible???!!

not only that but will we unlike fallout new vegas..... be allowed to continue after the end!

PLEASE excuse any massive gaps .. my first few forum threads./posts. have gaps to.

this is because I'm dyslexic and even with my glasses they only help a bit so please forgive me

dont know bout the vault

it seems like it's empty/abandoned when you leave, so i dont see why itd colse behind you

and beth has said they learned their lesson about the fo3 style ending through negative reaction from fans, so i'd bet it'll be a soft ending like morrowind, skyrim, etc

Maybe it will be something like Helgen in Skyrim. Abandoned for a few weeks until raiders move in

Seeing as you're the sole survivor of Vault 111, I'm sure we'll be able to re-enter it if we choose to.

You can't reenter 101 because of story reasons. The Vault was meant to unjoinable. If you are the sole survivor of 111... noone can close the Vault behind you. So there is no sense to disallow you to enter it again.

Your banishment from 101 might have been meant to win over fans of the original games too. Since it seems like Bethesda seems comfortable enough now to do their own thing with Fallout, I would say that it is likely we will be able to visit our former vault.

Well it's possible but there may not be much reason to. After all it's 200 tears old give ot take a decade and has been running on automatic for who knows how long.

Also there may not be a way to send the elevator back down.

We shall see on the vault part, for all we know they might hardware locking the vault by some, automatic lockout system.

As for end, no confirmation (tho there are rumors of 8 endings, which would suggest no) personally I hope it ends, but it has a clear warning when you are about to enter a end game point of no return, continuing after the main quest kinda robs it of its impact, the latest TES games are a good example.

Well, who's gonna lock the door behind you?

The player, maybe.

I put nothing past players.

FO3/FNV people were ranting and raving because they managed to lock *themselves* in a vault. That didn't have interior controls for the door.

Some players, for whatever reason, hit the outside controls to shut the vault door, and ran in before it closed. Then they found out they couldn't get out. Whether this was in FO3 or FNV I can't remember, but it happened.

When asked why they closed the door, the reply was "I was rping, and didn't want anyone to follow me inside. All the other vaults had controls."

I'd like to see vault 111 as another settlement site option.

:lmao:

Looks like the Enclave is at it again.

I wouldn't mind seeing the PC continue after the main storyline has ended.

It is possible. One of the e3 clips showed what looked like a settled vault.

I can see us making an early game home in the vault.

I figure a rock fall will prevent us from going back in.
