That is weird! I had no idea. Thank you! Learned something new after 100's of hours. I'll have to take a listen.
Revolutionary Era Fife enthusiasts?
I've never met one, but, you just know they must be out there.

I like it. I didn't even know there was any in the game, because I didn't do the minutemen quests.
"...All quiet, and that's the way we like it."
Yeah, I agree. That's kind of annoying.
And even though I liked Three Dog, he did get kind of repetitive. If they could reintroduce him with a lot more variety, both in what he says, but also the music he plays. Well, that'd be alright by me
I admit that Three Dog kind of ruined other DJs for me. I didn't like Mr. New Vegas either. Three Dog just had the charisma needed to be a great DJ, the others, not so much (and in Travis' case, the exact opposite). Plus, I felt Three Dog was the only one who had a "radio voice". Travis sounds like some dude at a Magic the Gathering tournament.
As for music, the More Where That Came From mod adds over a 100 new songs. Always one of the first things I pick up.
I normally hate DJs like 3Dog in real life but I he is my favorite charcter in Fallout 3.
I don't know about you, but I consider Three Dog to be one of the most annoying things about Fallout 3. And there are plenty of those in it. Everything about that character other than his looks was insultingly dumb.
I remember spending sooooo long waiting for a chance to kill the bastard. One of the best things in F3 is blowing his head sky high and thank Azura beth didn't make him unkillable.
I was actually surprised he wasn't in Fallout 4. He said he got called in to do voice over work for the next installment of Fallout, oh about 2 years ago.
So, he either does other voices, or maybe something related to him with dlc is coming in the future. Or maybe they canned the idea.
I wasn't going to link to his tweet but I couldn't resist, had to search. https://twitter.com/etdellums/status/288757510406557697
I'm glad Three Dog didn't make a return. The self-righteous hypocrite can rot in DC for all I care.
I never got the hate for him. He a good person and entertaining( imo).
If Galaxy News radio was taken off line it could only be Maxson and his BoS goons who didn't want the truth being aired in DC. I suspect if he set up shop in the Commonwealth he would run into the same bunch of goons who do not tolerate differing opinions.
I like Travis, he is a simple and down to earth guy. A bit of a wimp, but after the personal quest he is just radiating confidence on air, i love that little change.
Great example of how the impact in game - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gSKkdlnZGA
Spoiler warning on the video, it covers the Fridge quest in Fallout 4.
*rolls eyes*
As someone who can't really get into playing as an evil character in most games with a moral choice aspect, I'm just going to say that answer is laughably wrong in my case.
Look at his whole ideology of "Fight the Good Fight." He's always willing to tell others to do stuff to help other people, but he never actually bothers to lend a hand himself. Most specifically, his treatment of the Lone Wanderer. He has information on your father, and rather than give it to you, he wants you to go fix his radio tower for him, which just so happens to be in the middle of Super Mutant territory. But what about everyone else? Well, after he relates your story to the Wasteland, he tells people to help you out, something he refused to do. He says he's willing to do "Whatever. It. Takes." to keep the Capital Wasteland free, but won't leave the safety of his stronghold to push back raiders or even fix his own antenna. The Good Fight has one rule: "You want help, you have to contribute." But considering the circumstances he finds himself in, by his own logic, he should contribute to you. His "Fight" is lost without the help of you, some merc, or the Brotherhood, since he's unwilling to do the job himself. But no. It's all about his "fight," which is him sitting in a room talking into a mic.
So he talks about people doing what they can to help others, despite doing nothing for someone else unless it directly benefits him, all the while acting like he's morally superior to all others around him, and even insults your intelligence if you "don't see the bigger picture."
