I think the closest we've had to that little exchange is that terrifying presence perk in New Vegas.
I like it when games acknowledge just how powerful our player character is in being a god compared to everyone else. Doesn't even have to be combat skill, there's a nice bit in Mount and Blade where you can talk down a belligerent drunk drawing a sword in a tavern with "Do you even know who I am?", with that only working if you have a high renown meaning that people should be pretty aware that you are a nobleman in plate armour with hundreds of soldiers at your command.
