HELP! fallout 3 goty edition works completely fine on my dad"s computer, but when i install it on mine it works ok(a little bit slow) until i get to the part where i am 10 years old and i have to use the bb gun to shoot the radroach. it seems that anything that has a conflict with me causes my computer to just shut off and turn back on. Can anybody help me out?

oh and it cant be ram bcuz 1. why would it run at all if i had too little ram? and 2. i have a lot of games that i dont have the required amount of ram for that i can still play fine.

The Minimum Radeon, as per the official requirements, is the X850 (although I was able to confirm than an X800 will also work). An X1300 is far below that in performance, so the game should run very poorly with it. Then, the poor underpowered thing probably overheats, and so does the power supply. The old Athlon XPs were hot-running, although no quite as much as Pentium P4s were.

You can't get the game running smoothly enough for full enjoyment, but if all the insides are clogged with dust, dander, and lint, you can clean it all out and it may get the power-drops under better control (particularly, your symptoms suggest that the power supply is either horribly clogged up, or is failing).
