Fallout 2 Retrieving the GECK : Fallout Series Discussion

Is it possible to return to the GECK to Arroyo before the Enclave kidnaps everyone and the village becomes inaccessible?

And after the Enclave comes, how do I complete the quest, now that I have the GECK? Do I need to defeat the Enclave first at the Oil Rig and then return to Arroyo with the GECK?

1. No. Once you get the G.E.C.K (or is it once you reach Vault 13?), Arroyo is attacked by the Enclave.

2. Yes. Get to the Oil Rig, beat the Enclave (there are, of course, several ways to do it), and you'll see what happens. Good Luck!

Thanks man! I thought I blew it because I took too long to get the GECK.
