As long as my save does't get corrupted or missions get get corrupted to the point that I can't do them or I crash ever hour then I don't really care about any other problems.

Seems like the story is good which was my only concern.

Of course Destructoid gave it the lowest score yet. It has to be an indie game to get a high score...

Seriously, to each their own. The reviewer basically sees it: It's not NV and thus worse. Personally I prefer F3 over NV.

I could quibble about how come Fallout 4 isn't 'essential'

(many game site's definition of a 10)

when Metal Gear Solid and The Witcher 3 are considered so.

These things are so subjective aren't they...

I like how some of the reviewers saying how they wanted more changes to happen from Fallout 3. I say, If It ain't broke don't fix. Improve on what you have. Seems to me that Fallout 4 improves on Fallout 3 on every aspect and adds a bit of new stuff.

Can't wait.

OpenCritic founder here, thanks for the mention!

You can actually click the score orb to see a cooler distribution of the scores.

GameCritics gave it a 70/100

I looked at every review so far and it's looking likely that Bethesda has got beaten by CD Projekt Red, and even got beaten by MGS5 as well.

It could still change though, too early.

It depends on who you ask. I've not played the new Witcher, nor MGS5, and never will. So in a way F4 have already beaten those games, in my world anyway.

The GameCritics review said this...

"Deaf and Hard of Hearing Gamers: There's enough visual feedback that actually playing the game shouldn't be an issue, but I've noticed quite a bit of infidelity in regards to the subtitles. Some are outright missing, while other times, dialog overlaps and the game has trouble picking out what's most important. Those relying on the subtitles to follow the story will have a tough time."

I'm deaf and this worries me...

This is my thought on the Witcher 3/MGS5/Fallout 4 comparisons.

Witcher 3- Emotional Story driven.

MGS 5- Insane graphics and AI.

Fallout 4 -Complete Immersion into the world.

I'm not shocked it's getting lower scores then those games. It doesn't have the pretty graphics and is pretty buggy(like most Bethesda games).

I′m not deaf, but I′m not a native speaker. A game without subtitles is a no-no for me. I not bought the game yet and will do only when there are no such problems.

Bioshock 1 has quite the same problem, subtitles were totally out of sync.

Yeah, looks like Witcher has the GOTY.

Errr.. same thing I said for the traits and the skill system which they threw ouf of the game.

"More" goty's probably, not necessarly "the" goty. I think the only "the" goty is the one from the game developers awards.

Eh, GOTY is just a meaningless title anyway. What is amusing though is watching NMA go off on rants about these scores.

Doesn't matter to me who wins the most goty. Just enjoy the game. If the Witcher get more then so be it. If FO get more then so be it.

His main problem seems to be the voice acting.
