Hey i was just surfing around on youtube and saw what appeared to me a legit trailer to so called "Fallout 4 San Franciso" i was just posting this to see if it was really true or not. Please tell me if it is.

It was posted in January last year... it looks like [censored] anyway and is just a panning shot of assests from the first game made in the software kit; got to be one of most recuring questions ever asked. It's a hoax.

I always thought it looked pretty crappy in terms of whether or not it looked legitimate. They just copied stuff over from Fallout 3's trailer then added some fake looking images of a car with BoS stuff sitting on it...

How do people think this is real? As if any major video game publisher would release a trailer as crap as this.

If it was a legit trailer people would be talking about that one years ago, plus it'd be on Bethesda's parent publishers own Youtube channel.

Fallout 4 is years away from being announced. Unlike other studios, and similarly to Rockstar, BGS announces their games about half or even 3/4s the way done before playing, polishing, changing, bug fixes, etc. stage of development as seen by their latest debut, TES V: Skyrim.

We already know their next game whether FO, TES, or another existin/new IP is for next-gen consoles and the PC hardware out at that time.

Expect probably an announcement at years end 2013-16 range. Probably around 15. At last count Bethesda's keen on the 3-4 year development cycle. Including preproduction that's around 5-6. Plus Skyrim was announced about 2+ years after FO 3's release.

But their next game would be next-gen so keep that in mind. Gen leaps take more time to develop usually ala Morrowind. They have gotten better though and are a premier studio with a Private parent company with a ton of resources though so anyone's guess.

It isn't real, it is crappy fake trailer. San Francisco was already in Fallout 2.

One simple way to know its fake. You are on a Betheda website and there is no "Fallout 4 San Francisco" topic like there is for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. When Fallout 4 gets announced you will hear it here first, not on youtube.
