Testing after converting one of my Oblivion meshes for Fallout3. I'll probably make a mod eventually similar to the one I did for Oblivion but it's a long way off.

I'm trying to get some screenshots of the water areas, but it looks messed up and only shows part of it detailed, what's going on here?

http://i44.tinypic.com/2m3224y.jpg

Something to do with draw distance. Try running down to the waterside then go back up to where you were. The game needs to load what's ahead of you if you've not already been there. Don't forget to turn your HUD off (tm in console) and you've got a good one there. :)

For all you PC players taking pictures. Hit the console key ~ first to get rid of the pip display, makes for a nice clean shot.

Well I would if it wasn't because I am sitting on an Acer laptop (where the console don't work period, something acer-specific) and on a Swedish keyboard (console is annoying to get to start in the first place).

Console hacks such as the Goggles that do nothing only works sometimes on this machine.

I almost envy PCers for being able to SS stuff. If I could do that on the 360...

Better not be aimed at me as well. I already know that, been around longer than you, but sometimes we cannot be bothered.
And really, who cares?

I think I'm starting to get the hang of making the screenshots look like real people.

The above link is a collection of twenty-some screen shots I've selected from literally hundreds of screen captures I've taken since the game's release. Each screen capture was post processed to match the my visual aesthetic that I have when I do my own real world 35mm photography.

Like I said, who cares. That's old news. If anyone really had to know that Post #1 is there for a reason not just decoration. We don't need a random lurker who has not contributed at all (http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=997952&st=0&p=14431276&#entry14431276) telling us what to do.

I havn't participated in this yet, and really enjoy the screenshots people post here. :) So I decided to find a few of my recent screenshots that seemed worthy for this thread and wanted to share:

I know a simple thing, but the night-glow from Megaton is simply Beautiful: http://71.114.110.202/GlowFromMegaton01.jpg

I thought this was classy from Anchorage: http://71.114.110.202/Anchorage_Snowman.jpg

This sequence also seemed particularly cool and relevant: http://71.114.110.202/Anchorage_Pose.jpg

Also really enjoyed the end-scene of Broken Steel: http://71.114.110.202/Steel_Victory.jpg

Another nice animation/scene at the end of Steel:http://71.114.110.202/Steel_RideHome.jpg

The coolest robot in the land! http://71.114.110.202/MARGoT.jpg

A particularly beautiful and well-built , I have alot of respect for the Wilson Building: http://71.114.110.202/BrokenSteelWilsonBuilding.jpg

And one from me, definitely Not the way to Fly: http://71.114.110.202/NotTheWayToFly.jpg

I know I have Menus shown in these, they were from actual game-play so I can't help those - hope you enjoy!

Cheers,

M

Great unmodded FALLOUT 3 screens especially of the BROKEN STEEL DLC. Dont worry about the menus in your shots :D i always keep mine in because to me thats part of the art work of the game world and the magic of it all.

I've only got one to contribute today.

http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/8671/screenshot122.png

Robyn felt particularly proud of herself after taking down a Super Mutant Gargantuan (MMM). Of course, she had a bit of help from her stalwart ghoul manservant Charon. Mostly, he distracted the hulk while she shot at it. It took four bottlecap mines, several grenades, and about ten minutes of shooting at the thing with the combat shotgun and Xuanlong assault rifle, but Robyn came out on top.

Just to give people an idea (for those who don't have MMM installed), http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/3211-1-1236696508.jpg is what it looked like while it was alive.

I have two similar ones to post.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/ss290/Flattoecory/ScreenShot8-3.jpg

I'm making one of these into a Desktop, problem is I don't know which one I like best. I'll probably end up flipping a coin.
