Just a post to tell other gamers where they can find some epic gear or even some easter eggs.

So, many. What's the point in ruining the exploration. Do you want to see a Easter egg? Get off your ass and explore that's what fall
outs about. XD

In Fallout 2, New Reno, Desperado's Casino, 2nd floor, there is a bathroom with yet another smaller room right next to it.
In this room there is a freeze box which contains some items.

There is a concealed secret door in the Hub, near the water merchants.
If you press the hidden switch, the entire wall slides open and you can walk through... but I've no idea why it does this.

Maybe they were going to add some secret room. But realized it wouldn't work since we can see through the roofs.

That is a strong possibility. I don't get the reference.

Load up Fallout; choose Credits from the main menu; type the word 'boom' [sans quotes].

In FO1 and 2, the Pipboy has a screensaver; it looks like this &--#62;&--#62; http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj125/Gizmojunk/Pip2000a.gif

I did try to see the pipboy screensaver in Fallout 3, but it Bethesda discarded (or didn't know to include) it; if only they had asked the fan community.

I don't know about the recent trilogy disc, but the original game disc came with that screensaver for Windows, and it still works just fine. I'm surprised that GoG did not include it in their game-extras.

No sadly there isn't one in NV or Fallout 3. The Pipboy runs in menu mode of the engine so it isn't easy to include a animation. You gave me a excellent and challenging idea for a mod. Thanks!

It's a good project; I'd considered it myself at one point.

A better IMO (but more difficult) project would be a Pipboy2000 with the screensaver ~based off of the http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/12144. That I would certainly use.

If I get the animation to work it will be automatically compatible with the Raedius. For NV (not sure about Fallout 3) there is already a version of a similar looking Pipboy2000 based on Raedius but I am not fully satisfied with it yet (it looks to painted imho). Maybe I start to modell one with "real" glass tubes if I have the time to get the scripts of the Raedius working more reliable as they are at the moment (Tranquility Lane, Pitt, ... all instances where the player gets stripped are dangerous for the Raedius scripts).

Well, obviously, the "[censored] you" door was written when the aliens put the flux capacitor in mother ship zeta after reaching 88mph once Mr. Burke started the church of atom after he vicious dogs and mole rats entered the sprinvale cellar, thus starting the great war causing Lucas Simms to have some beers at dukovs place in the paradise falls barracks. I'm assuming that you realize that all of this happened in the due witch building that was locked inside the framed quote in vault 101.
