V 1.1 Change Log

To ensure your experience is as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible, Vault-Tec engineers have implemented some exiting new features!

  • Overseers should be on the lookout for new threats to their Vault Dwellers. Some Vaults have reported attacks by burrowing Mole Rats and enraged Deathclaws – likely attracted by the sound of new construction.

  • Vault-Tec has partnered with General Atomics International in order to offer Overseers their very own robot butler – the Mister Handy! Now you lazier Overseers have a friendly, entertaining alternative to tapping and collecting resources. (Crumpets not included.)

  • Our engineers clearly underestimated the, *ahem*, usefulness of living quarters to stimulate Vault growth, resulting is gross overpopulation and decreased Vault efficiency. Rest assured, the simulation has been adjusted, and Vaults of all shapes and sizes should now run more smoothly.

  • Not content with stealing your Vault’s resources, some rather enterprising Raiders have now resorted to stealing Caps as well. (If you haven’t armed your Vault Dwellers yet, now’s the time!)

  • As Vault-Tec does not approve of the use of unsanctioned levitation technology, all Vault Dwellers that were found floating through the air have been grounded. Permanently.

  • Some of the more difficult daily objective requirements have been adjusted to more obtainable levels. You’re welcome.

  • Continued general maintenance to the Vault simulation. Because an efficient machine is a happy machine!

Thanks to Vault-Tec, a new mode, extra tools and new features have been added to protect and perfect your Vault including:

V 1.2 Change Log

Vault-Tec engineers have implemented some exciting new features!

  • Improvements to sudden Vault shutdown and un-cooperative Wasteland Dwellers.

  • New Vault-Tec network protocols are finally in place. Now you can save your Vault to the “cloud,” (no moisture condenser necessary!) or continue any Vault experiment on all of your devices.

  • Some Dwellers are reporting strange, some would even say mysterious, sightings in Vaults around the Wasteland. Vault-Tec is offering a bottle cap reward for any positive identification!

  • Faced all the challenges the “normal” Vault simulation can provide? Introducing Survival Mode! More danger, More glory. Make Vault-Tec proud!

  • New Vault-Tec directive – Dwellers have been given authorization to scavenge equipment from dead Raiders. Gear up!

  • Are you an experienced Overseer who has already undergone Vault operational training? Now you can skip the tutorial!

  • In an effort to assist Overseers in running their Vaults more efficiently, Vault-Tec has added a statistics page to the Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide (VDSG).

  • Support added for Russian-speaking Overseers.

  • Continued general maintenance to the Vault simulation. Because when you speak, Vault-Tec listens!

To conclude 2015, a brand-new update for Fallout Shelter is available now – and it’s gone to the dogs (and cats). Thanks to our friends at Vault-Tec, tons of new features have been added to improve your underground life, including:

V 1.3 Change Log

  • Vault-Tec research has shown that four-legged companions can have a profound impact on Vault happiness and productivity. Introducing Pets!

  • Vault-Tec has received reports of some Dwellers not pulling their weight. Overseers are now authorized to permanently evict these lazy layabouts! Welcome to the Wasteland, slackers…

  • Bored with the same pickup lines and conversations? Dwellers have finally learned some new ways to impress other dwellers and the opposite six.

  • Excessive tapping causing frustration when trying to clear out excess inventory? Overseers will love the new sell-all options.

  • Dweller management improvements and new objectives should help experienced Overseers keep things running smoothly.

  • Even more Vault-Tec certified improvements and optimizations. Because you can never have enough improvements or optimizations.
