I just want bethesda to take their mistakes they made in fallout 3 and learn from them really, they have a chance to create an amazing game
Have no doubt that they do, and the listen to the forum's via the moderators. When something really good comes up, they forward it to the devs. In a way this allows the moderators to harvest all the best commentary from the forums so that the devs don't have to spend all day reading through the rest of the gargabe we post.
I'm sure some still read the forums directly, but I would bet not too many - these forums are chocked-full of ungrateful people that slam their work all day long - and really get tired of it very fast. How the moderators can keep reading the bad stuff day after day, month after month, and still enjoy the work gives me alot of respect for them.
But have no doubt, they listen and they learn. Its never as Fast as we would like, but that is the nature of software project development - especially when a big team of people is involved. If we find a major bug, and they decide they want to fix it, they have to plan-out the LOE on how long it will take, schedule the work as part of a release, do the code, merge it with everyone else's code, have it tested in QA, etc, etc. Its not a short-track to get changes put into a release.
