Thats how all protagonists look, generic white male haha. I'm sure there will be tons of armor sets and goofy spikey hair to make a unique character look

Also, Tranquility Lane lullaby music at around 1:10 if it hasn't already been pointed out.
It might also be a time skip many decades after New Vegas or Fallout 3. That would explain the advanced technology, if Institute doesn't already.
I am starting to think that the Reddit user GNR_Informant, who said his cousin worked for the PR department and started the whole Boston rumor because devs were seen scouting the area, was hit by a NDA because he admitted it was a hoax out of boredom (something like "This is fake, I was bored and made this up"). I cant find the post on r/fallout atm.
I dont know about you guys but if I was making a big ruse for something 100% fake to the point where a rumor was going around all the news media outlets, I would of been like "You svckers will believe anything! This crap is fake lol!".
His confession seemed forced...
Airships are likely difficult to build.
They wouldn't be in use outside of one or two rare situations.
This just proves whoever has it is fvcking STACKED with tech, resources, and manufacturing capability.
How can you even tell?
Saints Row have voices and that game has as much customization as any game, amd what backstory? Where can you find a backstory in this trailer?
Jus have this to say about the trailer.
THEY GOT RID OF THE DAMN GLOVE! ALLRIGHT!
I'm definitely happy about the gloveless pipboy
I strongly believe this game will be set in Boston now.
First the bunker hill monument, then the USS constitution. It's museum is in Boston too, if i'm not mistaken, right?
Well, agreed. If there's new Power Armor being built, I'd rather it look different.
That being said, the pre-war Power Armor and Armored Vault Jumpsuits are basically the http://oyster.ignimgs.com/mediawiki/apis.ign.com/the-legend-of-zelda-twilight-princess/thumb/9/9d/Link_Artwork_1_%28Twilight_Princess%29.png/150px-Link_Artwork_1_%28Twilight_Princess%29.png for Fallout.
I was thinking about this and I would actually really like the consequences of good actions to turn out bad for the brotherhood. Technology being leaked would be a cool result of past events. Though I think you're right in saying that it is probably just pre-war stuff. There were probably thousands if not hundreds of thousands of power armor suits produced. Could be an armory was looted near Boston that had them.
So if we pick a female character, will we be the mother in the trailer instead?
You are most likely the infant if anything.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but remember how Skyrim had one character featured in ALL its promotional content? That could explain this character seeming to be the official one, as he is in the trailer and in the kotaku leaks. Of course that says nothing about voiced PCs, only about facial customization.
As long as I can play as a female and have customization I don't care :3
Fo 3 and NV also had one character posted for the majority of its ads
Default male face 1 is always the "promo guy"
I noticed they're using lighter colors. And it looks a bit cartoonish.
Kind of reminded me of how Bioshock suddenly went from dark to jolly.
I'm not sure if I like that.
If that Kotaku thing is true...
I think it's very likely that the family shown in the trailer has nothing to do with the protagonist and they all died in that nuclear explosion.
1:41 in the trailer... is that the mysterious stranger?
if not them I'm getting myself a trench coat
Almost every character customisation game has the default white guy in the trailers.. Unless Beth have made this game solely first person I don't see why Beth would have removed character customisation
