I consider it to be very realistic.

Obsidian has already expressed interest in doing a Fallout of New Orleans. New ideas are always welcome, I would suspect, especially when New Vegas was a resounding success, so there'd be no fear that they're not up to the task.

I think your expectations were a little bit too high.

What is wrong with the trailer, if I may ask?

It has everything a trailer needs in my opinion.

I didn't mean the dog was from the past. The thought was that the dog could have sensed that his master had been there before ... as if the protagonist had been going through his childhood home and his dog was tracking him down following the route he took through the house or something ... examing the crib because his master had been there before.

Don't you see? The wait for the deep storyline IS the deep storyline. It's like waiting for Godot all over again.

When was this?

All I recall is Fergus Urqheart talking about Fallout LA being a mx between Fallout and Walking Dead "because of all the radiation"

Normally I'd agree, but the graphics aren't the kind of incredible leap we saw in past games. If visual fidelity isn't the focus, then reduced loading and cell separations has to be improved. Todd Howard was also talking about how next gen ram increases have allowed them to do a lot of things they couldn't in past games.

Wait so I can't do that with Unreal Engine 4 and CryEngine? I have been using CryEngine and Unreal Engine 4 for many months for Unreal Engine 4 and CryEngine 3 since 2011 I am able to program in objects to be picked up, thrown, dropped, and the video game to remember where I placed them even after saving.

I'm able to make as many exteriors open as I want without loading screens. I can even put in thousands of NPC's if I want.

If heavily improved or heavily modified almost any video game engine can do what the Gamebryo, Creation Engine does.

Avellone has been involved in three other games in 2014-15. Unless he has a time-turner, I don't know how he could possibly work on Fallout 4 too.

There will always be people who dislike stuff, they're just more noticable here because this forum isn't really overflowing with people.

Well, I for one am [censored] Psyched!! As a huge fan of Mass Effect and Witcher I can dig the voiced protagonist too.

Watched the trailer scene for scene 5 times now in 720p, the game looks awesome to me..

The return of the bobblehead?! I see one on the workbench at the end of the trailer. Goodbye snowglobes, I never liked you anyway.

If you read a lot of my comments you will know I do not enjoy playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at all and that I'm afraid of the way Bethesda Game Studios will be developing Fallout 4,

Realistically the trailer could have been a guy holding a sign that said Fallout 4 coming soon and i'd be happy. :fallout:

@ 1:38 it looks like the Washington monument to me, so perhaps hubs or open world between Boston and DC.

Trailers pretty awesome, I'm cautiously optimistic about FO4, although the wait for E3 will be unbearable.
