Thought the same thing, but found out it's Bunker Hill Monument. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunker_Hill_Monument
You can see the building attached to it looks exactly like the one in the Wiki.

Hmmmm!
Look what Ron Perlman tweeted!

Seriously more negative guys, what teaser trailers are you comparing this to? This is much better than what Skyrim got.
Definitely, one of the things that bugged me about Fallout 3 was that it felt like a sub par version of Fallout and Fallout 2. The stuff Bethesda actually added (Talon Company for instance) was halfhearted, and not fleshed out at all. At the moment the east coast is just west coast lite, so hopefully Bethesda will actually give the area its own distinct identity, and its own story in this installment.
Dat Tweet, so good.
At least tradition is continued, I'm happy about that.
Edited2 Bunker Hill Momument, that makes so much sense.

Edit: looloolooigotsomeapples beat me to it.
we'll get to kill them off for good in the Chicago DLC though wouldn't that be fun?
The problem with the trail is like some people pointed out the Player Character (PC) might actually be voiced, due to the baby in the crib and the dog going into that abandoned house like somehow that dog remembers that the Player Character (PC) used to live in that house.
The next thing is that Todd Howard said in 2014 at Gamescom they are excited they can have thousands of NPC's on screen at once now and not get like 10FPS. of course this is Fallout the population shouldn't be huge, but I did not see lots of NPC's at all.
The land also looked extremely empty. I'm not saying there should be houses every like 30 feet or NPC's all over the video game world map in Fallout 4. But the video game world map in Fallout 4 just looked extremely empty in some parts.
I'm not saying this trailer is the final representation of what Fallout 4 will look like and play. Just I'm scared Bethesda Game Studios will not deliver Fallout 4 in a way I have come to expect from Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and The Elder Scrolls video games.
They started separating cities into their own worldspaces with Oblivion because of the increased performance strains from having so many NPCs; this is something that could change if the new gen is equipped to handle whatever AI Beth has on the table.
Interiors like vaults or dungeons being separated from the exteriors is more about design than performance; it's easier for them to add new interiors en masse to the world, and they have more control over the level design. Bethesda builds their environments from small architectural kit pieces (like a Vault kit, or a Nordic Ruins kit) and then clutters them and changes up the lighting design or other effects in order to make each location feel more distinct.
Separating interiors from exteriors and supporting multiple worldspaces also makes it so much easier for them to make more content (ie DLC), and it's convenient for the modding community as well.
The fact that the new gen has more PC-like architecture is promising, especially for the PS4. More NPCs, or more complex NPCs, open cities, mitigated loading times, etc. I'm stoked.
There's a place at 1:41 called "Memory Den." Perhaps related to people losing memory after cryofreeze..??
People know it's normal to sell a "protagonist" in trailers, even trough you may be able to fully customize your character in-game, right?
I liked how the fan was blowing around a little in the garage
We'll see if world interiors and city cells are separate, Witcher 3 was 2 main cells, not separate cells, in the main cells like Novigrad and Oxenfurt were in the same map but then again that game doesn't remember the spoon that you bump on the table that you bumped into like other beth games.
It seems we have new Vault this is pretty exciting judging from what i saw of the trailer we may also get a playable prologue of some description. I assume that ends with us reaching the vault and the door closing behind us. You will probably play this from one of your ancestors perspectives and it may act as a kind of tutorial.
I noticed also ships like troop or drop ships so we may be getting some kind of transport in this game (possibly like the cart in Skyrim) They focused a bit on a dog in the trailer so this leads me to believe that we will be able to buy at some point or be given a dog in the early game.
I noticed that we here a protagonist talk. People are saying that this will be the voice of our protagonist. I don't buy it I think the voice is just for dramatic effect all in all I am impressed yes the graphics are not AMAZING but remember this is possibly an early build of the game and it is still fallout after all.
(
That or, since there's supposedly a lot of androids in the Commonwealth, it could be a place to get hijack memories to experience other lives or w/e.
Yes I think we all know, but don't think Bethesda Game Studios will never change. Any company can change at some point in the future.
That's right androids are suppose to be numerous in the commonwealth
Yes, but until there is confirmation at E3 of being able to do so and whether there will be a voice or not and if there is a voice do we get to choose one and are the dialogue options still reasonably branched and dependent on skills. Until we know, it will make us a might nervous.
Or perhaps for androids to get high on illegal memory content?
So what if the player is voiced?
And why would the player have lived in that house? The mother with the baby was outside the vault when the bomb blew, there is no way that's the player.
And the "thousands of NPC's on screen" was just an example to make his point clear, you didn't believe they'd have huge masses of people, did you?
I just think your expectations were too high, but hey, we'll see.
I'm definitely looking forward to E3 now, I want to hear what they actually have to say about the game. I've already got my grains of salt ready to go.
That's cool. I never knew Boston had an obelisk monument like DC. Thanks for the links!
Voiced Protagonist would limit dialoge, won't matter how advanced the ps4/Xbox One would be, it would limit dialoge. I'm still in a wait and see mode on that as I need E3 for more info but that's the only real negative about Fallout 4 so far.
