only 11 days and 7 hours to go till the Bethesda e3 conference.

Do you reckon we will get anything new between now and then (concept art, a screenshot)?

The purifier was never meant to purify the river, it was impossible, even for it, to purify that much water. Both James and Li tell you this in-game.
Broken Steel didn't show it because the base game never promised it, even in its ending slides. It only showed exactly what James and Li said the purifier would do.
Knowing Bethesda, they'll probably add a "Baseball" skill and use radiant questing to give you XP every time you hit a home run, then tell everyone how ground-breaking the choices are that you make every time you swing a bat.
They just released stills from the trailer as in-game screenshots on facebook, so that's nifty.
Funniest post I've ever read. Bethesda should hire you to be the radio DJ for Fallout 4.
I'd rather them steal FPS mechanics from Half-Life, frankly. Keep it simple.
Oh, it was annoying even on keyboard & mouse for me, but that might just be because I'm terrible at shooters. And VATS really needs an overhaul. I'm excited to see what they change.
I hope they don't do anything with that stupid android plot line from Fallout 3 in this one
-Its been two weeks m8. Contrary to what same games might have led you to believe, most actions do not result in massive world shattering consequences 5 minutes down the line. Things wouldn't, and shouldn't, get better for many years after the fact. Only once the whole thing has fully settled down, and the water supply has become constant would things noticeably change.
-And the poison isn't a dud, we can very obviously see it starting to kill people. And, much like the above, it wouldn't be instant death to everyone, that's not how the real world works.
-As for the sacrifice, given that the game was literally designed to make you Jesus, your resurrection only fits the anology better.
-You do not, and cannot, side with the Enclave in Fallout 3. You can side with Eden, but Eden is not the Enclave, as all the humans desert him in favor of Autumn, who doesn't want to poison the water. By poising the water, you go against the wishes of the actual Enclave, and so they have no reason to want you to join them.
-You can betray them after expressing clear dislike of them through Fallout 3, and you could have very well left the crawler via the same door you came in from.
So yeah......
Given that several characters in the trailer look partially robotic.... that's unlikely.
99% still means there's that 1%, but that's besides the point. I'd argue that Dishonored was more of a melee/magic game, since the gun was loud compared to the crossbow. Getting rid of that delay is fine, which I agree can ruin gun play.
I was asking you what you ment by smoother and in this case what is considered better? To be clear I'm not a BIG FPS gamer. I do play them but more casual than I play other games. Things that I would consider wanting to add in FO gunplay can hinder other weapons. Again try imagining playing FPS mechanics from CoD, and other shooters but using a throwing spear(which fallout has) or swords.
That voiced protagonist at the end really hurt. Please let that be gone when the game comes out. I can't imagine hearing my character actually talk.
Other than that, it looked pretty good, the colorfulness is going to take some getting used to but I guess that probably should be seen as an
improvment over the greens and browns of 3 and New Vegas.
Hopefully it's not the designer that screamed "grind! Make them grind! And give them a bunch of useless stuff they can't get rid of too."
I find it really strange that some people are so against a voiced PC. What is your issue with that, exactly?
I, for one, have always found it really strange and awkward that my character is the only one in the entire World who never says a word. Conversations are kinda weird when there's only one person speaking and they seem to be responding to some question that magically materialized in their head. Uhh.....
And I don't want to hear the "it's role playing" argument, cause it's not. If you ever played a table top role playing game in your life you'll know that no computer game can ever be a role playing game.
I really don't want to read too much into it all. I'm just happy that FO4 was finally confirmed! I can watch the trailer over and over, and you know what... it 100% feels like a Fallout game! I have not issues with the graphics.
First, let me get the game and then I will form my opinion on story, consequences, setting etc. (I just wish and hope that gamesas has learned their lessons from past mistakes)
100% agree with you there! I'm so over mute characters. I love it when my character actually has a voice!
Again clarify what mechanics you are referring to in those FPS. Is it the iron sights, the reloading, instant head shot kills, cover, prestige, gun customization, there are many mechanics in those games, so clarify else we'll be going around in circles.
And to be honest... I don't remember any weapons other than Projectiles and explosives in Far Cry but I could be wrong. And again what mechanics from far cry.
