what are your min/rec. system requirements predictions based on the trailer?

do you think fallout 4 will run at least or better minimum settings if I can play skyrim ultra @ 60 fps?
Haven't Bethesda's games usually been right behind stuff like Crysis and Witcher in terms of graphical fidelity on launch? Even as far back as Daggerfall they were getting praise for it.
I believe any PC that could run skyrim decently on high graphics and a reasonable resolution will be able to run this no problem.
The graphics are nice, i don't get what people are saying. With the ammount of physics and detailed objects on Bethesda games, expecting Witcher 3 graphics would mean no one would be able to play it.
Really interested in how Bethesda has gone about designing Energy weapons in FO4, hopefully they haven't strayed too far from the Fo3 or FNV look. It would be nice if they made them feel more different than regular firearms, like they had real power and weight to them, in previous games they felt sorta underwhelming, you didn't really feel like you were firing an super high tech plasma rifle.
It seems that Boston will have rain. The scene with the airship, aside from obvious thunder and lightning, has rain falling.
I like the color and art style, and I personally dont find the graphics that bad in general.
I thought the new portectron looked really nice all around.
Gives a very big "Robby the Robot" feel, even moreso then it did in past games.
and currently there's an army of armchair warriors marching through these forums.
I hope they have sorted the clipping effect with rain, i want to be able to hide under cover and not have rain magically fall through the ceiling.
Out of the few issues I had with the trailer, the color and art direction weren't among them. I think the graphics look fine, and the color and art style seems more consistent with Fallout and Fallout 2's than Fallout 3's ever did.
From what I recall there wasn't a clipping issue with rain specifically.
Its that here just was no rain at all. All the "rain" effects was just a filter placed over the camera, and not actual rain, which is why it didn't hit anything.
I have no issues with the graphics either. Just seeing Fallout go from what it was visually with Fallout 3 and New Vegas to what we're seeing now, it's just awesome seeing the Fallout universe look that good, no matter how impressive the graphics are to be expected of in this day and age.
Oh, and not to mention, they're just graphics. They don't matter that much.
Loving the new protectron design.
I'd like to see some form of custom built/salvaged robot companions a bit like the RobCo mod.
Okay, the Constitution that has been fitted with jet engines.
The gate could be Fenway Park after being converted to a base of operations
A couple other observations:
It looks like iron sights may be in the game as the rifle the vault 111 guy holds at the end has them. Look at the weapon at around the 2:30 is time mark. Also, given the mismatch of PA components, and the various pieces on the wall in the garage for a laser rifle of some sort, it looks like we may get to do a lot of customization of armor and weapons this time around.
Yeah all this complaining about graphics each and every game release is getting really [censored] old. All these chronic complainers that nitpick over every single texture grind my gears.
At the risk of stating the obvious: None of this is in-game footage, it's just a trailer.
There's nothing to suggest that there won't be character customization or any of the other classic Fallout features. Its.Just.A.Trailer.
The trailer is gritty, sure, but that's what all Fallout trailers/intros have been, so why would that change? They're supposed to be that way. I don't think we have anything to fear, especially if you're on PC, in which case there will be after market enhancements as the Vanilla game graphics have to be dumbed down to satisfy the lowest common denominator.
I think we should expect a good portion of the old, which, let's be honest, is some of the best out there, spiced up with an equal portion of new stuff and an awesome plot. At this point anything you've seen in the trailer is subject to deletion, as is anything up until the day of release.
Yea, the rifle at the end looks a bit modified.
Has anyone else noticed the father in the house (guy in white shirt) looks very much like the vault dweller at the end?
The family is also seen reaching the Vault when the bomb drops at 2:10 so it could also be the man's child.
