Yeah I didn't have any issues with the art style or graphics. I also agree that it looks like rifle is modified, can see it on the fallout 4 website picture, too, and seems like the PA is also being constructed or repaired or possibly modded as well.
That's not exactly true. In Hungarian gaming magazines - yes, I used to read the actual paper ones, sue me - the graphics were praised to high heaven. The water effects in that game were considered second to none for quite some time.
Well it's not game play but it is using the in-game graphics, Atleast that's the case when most of the bits where there's people. So you can say it is in-game footage... Also not one noticed the horrible Vault 111 Door? the one that looked like it was from the Fallout Isometric cutscene days? No? I think that's the only thing that got me worried...
And Let's get some terms straight, are people complaining about the color(Hue read as Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, etc.) or the saturation(how vibrant or dull a color/hue is is it pure red or greyish red)? Cause it might be a great color scheme but the saturation is too dull or too vibrant. Also take note that it's also different from the term tint
I personally just think that the lore behind D.C. will remain "its a [censored]hole because all the water is irradiated, and no one has the knowledge on how to build a large enough water purification system that could enable things like farming to allow population growth beyond the base minimum" they had in-game.
Boston is(obviously) on a different water table, and was likely not affected in the same way as D.C. Or if it was, The Institute fixed it fairly quickly since they survived the war seemingly intact, and could use their pre-war knowledge to do it.
no, there's gameplay footage definitely in the trailer
If we are, I am in hopes it's optional to use.
I think 4 takes place well after 3, and Dr Ling or whatever her name was takes the GECK project info with her to Boston which allows them to build beyond what DC was when we played.
You can Tell, big time. When things are made CGI Cinematic style you get more of a WoW Trailer, highly detailed, dynamic physics in everything, smoother animations. Think of watching a movie. Camera also is smoother.
From the trailer there is a mix of both.
The scenes where NPCs are running is In-game, you can tell from the camera handeling and how much detail is NOT in the characters. And looks similar to the previous Fallout games. The bit where the Protag was with the dog feels more like CGI than actual in-game footage. The bit where the Explosion happens also could be CGI and not in game footage.
Oh and the beginning part where they show the TV.
The GECK, at least the Fallout 3 one, doesn't work, both James and Braun tell you this.
Secondly, if my memory isn't failing me, James didn't use the GECK itself to fix the purifier, he was going to simply adapted technology from it to fix the purifier
It wouldn't be the GECK project data, it would be the Project Purity data if anything.
Bethesda's trailers have typically been a mix of in-engine and cinematic. Compare this one to Skyrim's, or Fallout 3's, or Oblivion's.
Escaping your neighborhood to hand your kid off to get into a vault would be a pretty cool intro sequence.
Greetings...
...what I wonder is, if this game in particular could have and implement the "Choices with consequences". It could be incredible to experience that development in which we could encounter and how the whole decisions aspect could impact the world we will be experiencing. I know there where some-ish in the previous ones, but I wonder if the choices in this particular game will be more compelling.
P.s. Cheers.
Man I am so lucky school is over for me on Monday. I'd not pass in a single subject if I had one more year. First Witcher 3 then > Mad Max: The Game then > Fallout 4 (asuming it comes out this year). Life is over
You're right, I should have said Project Purity data. This could explain why the area is more developed than Zimmer made it sound, and is able to support so much more life.
Anyone notice that in front of the Memory Den there is a "Girls! Girls! Girls!" poster?
Bringing back prostitution?
The best "Choices with consequence" that FO had was the ending, which usually means jack when a new one comes out since only certain things will be cannon, non of your previous actions in the previous game will affect the current game. This also applies for TES.
Now if your saying just consequence within that game then sure we should have more.
It was never gone, just not a major point in Fo3.
They better not make the mistake like last time and not let us continue to freely roam after the main story line.
I'm almost positive. Bethesda starts from scratch with each game; they would have a better system than VATS, and definitely better FPS mechanics. I'm hoping the FPS gameplay feels like Half-Life, the stealth gameplay feels like Dishonored, the exploration feels like Elder Scrolls, and everything else is Fallout RPG at its finest.
