Fallout 4 Speculation Suggestions and Ideas #130

This topic is for ideas and suggestions for Fallout 4 so that we can keep all the discussion in one thread. At moderator discretion, threads about specific and distinct topics as they relate to FO4 and the rest of the Fallout series may be acceptable in the Fallout Series forum. General idea/suggestion topics for a future Fallout game will either be closed, or moved to this one.
This thread should be used to discuss items you'd like to see in a future game, gameplay tweaks, quest ideas, things you hope are not in the next game and so on. If you want to discuss major issues, use a separate topic - such as the discussion about adding multi-player or co-op play, which already has a thread. Please search first to see if there is an active/recent thread on a particular topic.

It won't happen in any future game from Bethesda, so there is no reason to even discuss it. If you post about this subject, you may be Warned and or Banned from the boards for doing so.

This is also not a thread to discuss current or past Fallout Games, other than to mention an aspect of the game you want to see included, or not included, in a future Fallout game.

I'd like them to work on the third person camera. Have it farther away when just walking around and zoom in really close over the shoulder when you're aiming. I find the FPP to be annoying, but its better than the current TPP so I use it.

I'm sorry but, I cant understand a word of this.

- When a companion iventory is full and you want to pass some item to him/her will say something like: "i can take that", so, you dor the items you wanna pas to they and/or put it into a container.

Then come back and give they the command of pick up the items you drop, or take it from the container you put it, and they will; even if they inventory is full. That way you can empty any dungeon you cross by, taking with you and your comapanion EVERITHING in it.

-You can give the order of Attack someone. When they do it, You DON'T fall into a bounty (nither they) so you can go walking by, ordering your companion to kill people and nothing will happen. You order they to kill someone and You get away with murder.

-There is Not always something in the room with what your companion can interact, and thats why you can't make their move away from the door that are blocking.

-Why so much resistance to a simple and Functional command as The Hand?

I just had to 2nd this notion. Fallout 3 had a good 3rd person camera but New Vegas was severely lacking. In NV i could not zoom the camera out far enough, i could not leave it there and play the game and i could not pan the camera around effectively while moving. If anyone has the email of whoever would be responsible at Bethesda forward this suggestion. If any of the Mods are secretly Bethesda employees with access to the ears of the higher ups( :D) pass this along. If any Bethesda personnel are browsing these threads please notice this seemingly easy to implement suggestion.

Still having a difficult time trying to piece together what you are saying, but I'll give it my best shot

-Ok and?

-You could do that in Fo3/NV also. Hell, you can get companions to kill NPCs for your in NV and not lose any rep with factions as long as the companion kills the NPC themselves.

-You don't have to tell companions to interact with something in order to get them to move, you can just point and click on ANY piece of floor and they will move there.

The wheel wasn't functional, it was actually pretty crap in NV, and WTF in the hand you keep talking about?

The Hand=Fallout 2

When a character block the path you talk to they and the icon of a Hand appears. You click tha icon and they move.

Even there is a joke with it.

In a settlement you found a crippled brahmin. When you heal it, it follows you around, and usualy stop in front of a door. When you talk to it, and The Hand option come out and you use it, you cripple the brahmin again, and have to heal it (again) to follow you back so that way you can cross the door.

Is a little joke (that becomes annoying after a while).

Any way, The Hand is a interaction option with your comapinions (and some NPCs) that make they move, give a single step to a side and let you pass. Fast and functional.
