Its strange that they used open source code from a random Polish developer who to this point, has had no connection with Bethesda.

And its also odd that the IP traced to Poland. Almost as if.....a Polish individual is making and hosting this website.

Yeah, I'm actually really leaning towards Chicago as my preference. With Midwest BoS being a cruel dictatorship, and the Mutant Liberation Army rebelling against them.

Would be a nice twist of irony to support the mutants for once... against the "BoS" lol.

If it continues to spiral out of control, and "no comment", well...then it legit, imo. Right now though, they don't have to do anything except kick back and enjoy the show.

I like the giant mutants and I'd want them to be more common- on the other hand i really dont like insects but they are bearable in fallout (can't say the same about spiders in skyrim but yeah)

What makes the whole 'survivor2299' thing weird to me is that if it's fake, it's A) really well done in my eyes (lot's of mindF'ing going on there) and Neither Zenimax or Bethesda is doing anything about it.

Last time we had a fake thing, didn't they jump on it to tell everyone it's fake as soon as they could? Why aren't they doing so now?

You know I don't take any side on this all except that Tumbler and the connected twitter is fake (which I suspected early on because it didn't fit in any way). That a polish web developer uses a polish open source isn't anything special. Already taken in account that a polish company for viral marketing was hired because it was the cheapest and it would obscure everything nicely (thinking about the north korean thingie lately)?

The Open source that it is used in the website says nothing. The edits ... yes they aren't very professional. These ae my 2 cents.

Also, Mutant Liberation Army is composed of various mutants. Doesn't have to be Super Mutants. In-fact, I don't recall them ever specifying. Then again, I've never played the game, so I may be missing important context here.

However, it does seem weird to use a Polish developer's open source code. I'm sure Bethesda has used and probably developed js timers before. No its not automatically unprofessional or impossible that a company would do this, but again it seems odd and when taken into account that the IP was traced to Poland: downright suspicious.

Honestly, if it's fake I'm not even going to be mad. I'm actually enjoying the little tumblr posts and getting back in the Fallout hype. Not to mention, it kinda makes the waiting game a bit more bearable.

That's the problem with viral marketing. There have to be such elements in the correct dose otherwise nothing would be there to talk about it.
