This topic is for a friendly discussion of ideas and suggestions for Fallout 4. We all have opinions about what the next game should have and should not have. Each of us has the right to express that opinion freely. There are points we agree on and points we do not agree on. This means that people are going to disagree with you on some things. Accept that and move on. No need to beat your point so far into the ground that no one wants to look at it any more.


At moderator discretion, threads about specific and distinct topics as they relate to FO4 and the rest of the Fallout series may be acceptable in the Fallout Series forum. General idea/suggestion topics for a future Fallout game will either be closed, or moved to this one.

This thread should be used to discuss items you'd like to see in a future game, gameplay tweaks, quest ideas, things you hope are not in the next game and so on. If you want to discuss major issues, use a separate topic - such as the discussion about adding multi-player or co-op play, which already has a thread. Please search first to see if there is an active/recent thread on a particular topic.

Something to note. Discussions of Child Killing is not allowed on these boards. Don't even bring it up in this thread. It won't happen in any future game from Bethesda, so there is no reason to even discuss it. If you post about this subject, you may be Warned and or Banned from the boards for doing so.

This is also not a thread to discuss current or past Fallout Games, other than to mention an aspect of the game you want to see included, or not included, in a future Fallout game.

The new audio file sounds like a heavily filtered Frenchman... I really hope the new Fallout isn't based in France. Although, isn't there a lot of French talk in New Orleans and areas around there? I don't know... all this convoluted stuff is starting to lose my interest.

I believe it's [censored], because the countdown on the website leads to December 11th, while the user here is claiming the 7th, aka the VGA's. Whoever is behind this is frantically trying to correct his or her errors along the way, but they are pretty glaring.

Now ET Dellum's latest tweet might be interesting, being that he may be working with Bethesda again. Even if he isn't, I take his word to be more credible due to the fact that he already played Three Dog in a fallout game.

It's not that simple. If he is hired by Bethesda to voice Three Dog then he is employed by them for a while .

About his first tweet he made months ago about Three Dog returning is the situation a bit more complicated. Looking at the whole case it looked a lot like that he gave out some information far to early and was told to step back. We don't have any confirmation what so ever also is there the "unlikely" possibilty that he was written out of the game after that tweet no one knows except Bethesda.

The posting of the music videos on twitter which he does isn't a good indicator for speculation because he does it for a long time now.

So still everything is open and we simply have to wait an having fun with these tiny bits of speculation material.

I just don't see why they would post all that they have as cryptic and ambiguous as they are anyways and STILL try to throw people off. It's fake. It was cool and kind of exciting at first but now it's just annoying and if it isn't fake then I'm really scared for how bad Bethesda has [censored] Fallout up.

I must say, that there may be no connection between the countdown and the twitter page.. I see some people pointing out things that weren't their originally and calling that into question.. But the countdown may be very real.

Like I posted before, the countdown could be for the official website, while the game is revealed at the VGAs.

I dunno. This getting a lot of attention. The average person who just looks at news stuff or watches YouTube is going to start thinking this is legit and true.

If Beth doesn't come out and say this is fake over the next few days I may think it is real. All the new FO swag on the store, these sites, 3 Dog tweets, which he got permission from Beth when he tweeted before, by the way. Meaning he could have received permission to tweet the new stuff, too.

What if there is more to the countdown site? When the countdown reaches 0, maybe it will open up a bigger website with a teaser trailer, and more...

Perhaps because it doesn't make any sense whatsoever in a game primarily set in the United States?

Especially since if we follow the so-called "teasers" we now have possibilities with Boston/East Coast, West Coast, and now France (or french speaking area of North America).

2299 is being bombarded with so much people. It's rising up in the google ratings. If this is a simple hoax who has the money to fund a site that can stand up to such intense scrutiny? This thing has some serious beef to it. Reddit is hitting this thing with tons of people wanting to look at the count down. Other websites are adding their own. This thing isn't going down and its only getting more popular.

I remember a tweet back in the day where he claimed there may be more of the Dog coming, and that he had permission for such a tease. If he IS working for Bethesda, then this tweet is a big giveaway. I believe there is something big around the corner, now with the VGA's around. An announcement is overdue.

I know ... But I am pretty sure some marketing expert pulled the whole thing back then. So 3 Dog had to step back too. Not sure if he is playing with us atm or if the site is real. We will know soon . Tumbler on the other side and the tweet page about it are looking very fan made and fake.

Salient point. If this were a regular website with no maintenance, the bandwith wouldn't be able to withstand such a large influx of people. It's being funded for sure.

I live in New Orleans and I've never heard anyone speak French or have a French accent. Many, many years ago I'm sure, but the media likes to portray that a lot, like that "Now You See Me" film recently. However, I would love the setting based in New Orleans and I would understand why there would be French dialect.
