I consider it a wasted opportunity to do something actually unique and meaningful. The map is full of "dungeons" of all kinds anyway and the vaults have all the potential to be something so much more than just a regular dungeons for an easy solution of momentary giggles. It's a shame the are treated now as they are.

Yeah I remember hearing about that glad it was never implemented...
