lol, I would have never guessed that's where the audio came from. I was a tad iffy about it, but it was blended together nicely.
i can already picture a huge troll face at the end of the countdown, or the trololo man apearing with opening curtains at the end of the countdown.
Or worse.

It can, and from what i understand it can obscure the sun for a few years, maybe more depending on number of nukes dropped.
because i had a dream about that, but it only obscured the sun for 5 months, 5 months of night time, and barly any light. Clouds looked shinny and orange/ brass (wich was really the only source of light seen), mixed with a very dark black. As for the ground, well . . . . there were zombies everywhere, that might not have total relevance to what might have happened after the bombs fell, but it was just my dream, it felt very real, and 10 times scarier gloomy than fallout.
how long would it take for ghouls to become feral after the bombing?
I leave for just over 12 hours and you people run the gautlet on here, shame on you,by the time I get caught up I'll be a week behind and FO4 will have been released.lol
Welcome to all the NEWBIES we gt creeping in here.
It actually differed from person(ghoul)to person.....I know its not canon but if you have ever watched the Falout nuka break series, the new season, which is up, Shows Ben a Ghoul starting to turn feral.
Yes Some would have turned feral almost instantly, due to the pain and such but others took time, turning feral is letting go of who you are as an individual and letting the "beast" take control.IMO
I think i remember hearing that excessive radiation during prolonged periods of time will cause ghouls to deteriorate faster and go feral quicker,
But yeah, it's probably depended from person to person, just like in Camp Searchlight, where every NCR soldier, except one, got turned to feral ghouls pretty much instantly, from the dirty bomb thingamajig legion used.
In my speculative opinion based on things floating around out there I think that Fallout 4 will start right about the time the bombs are being dropped and somehow the Main character will "surive" and end up in the year 2299.
Also i think the best blance for Fallout 4 is something of a hybrid of Fallout 3, NV and Skyrim.
Perk idea:
"Human Billy Goat" - Eating small trash and other non-food items has a 25% chance of healing, 25% chance of turning item into random small arms ammo, 25% chance of no effect and gets vomited / ruined, 25% of small health damage and or limb / body damage.
Would work if something like Tranquility Lane was done,a staus pod or Cryo sleep.
There were no iron sights in Fallout 3. As much as I liked FO:NV, my issue was the fact that there were too many cowboy type weapons. Now, I would like to see all of the weapons from both games be included in FO4, excluding the unique weapons.
But the unique weapoms were one of the best parts of the game.....I fell inlove with the tesla cannon and Alien atomizer
Si, way I see it when a ghoul goes "crazy" they are at first like normal humans when they are crazy; Can use weapons, can talk, have critical thinking abilities albeit warped. But when they lose too much of their sanity they go beyond just "insane" and become animalistic as their minds have deteriorated too much to a point where they are beyond salvation and turn into mindless hyperactive husks of their former selves.
Though I am not on the side of the fence that thinks that radiation has any part in whether or not they turn feral as there are too many contradictions to that theory in the games.
Yes, I agree the Unique weapons were truly awesome. One of my playthroughs has my character carrying unique weapons as her loadout.
The Tessla Cannon is not a Unique weapon. You can find at least two crates of them at the airbase in FO3, and there's another crate of them in the Citadel.
I think there is a bit of a misunderstanding, and maybe I should have phrased what I said differently. I want there to be unique weapons in Fallout 4, but I don't want them to be the same Unique weapons that were in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Fallout 4 should have it's own unique weapons.
there should be dual wieldable sumo wrestlers.
Well radiation does have a point in it,maybe a small one,but it is there, over exposure to radiation is known to increase the feralness and expediat the results
I think he meant for unique weapons to make an appearance where they don't make sense.
Like seeing Chance's Knife in the Midwest, there's no reason for it to be there. Sure, someone might have found it and brought it along on their travels but it'd be ridiculous if 'every' unique weapon managed to find its way to the same location. And unique weapons as in "one-of-a-kind" weapons should probably not be shoehorned into a game just because. I love the Holorifle but it isn't exactly mass produced so how would it find its way to Fallout 4's area? Some weapons need to be excluded from the game instead of shoehorned in where they don't make sense.
But, I wouldn't mind a non-canon DLC from Bethesda which adds a new shop to a location where you can buy weapons that otherwise wouldn't make any sense to be in that area, such as Holorifle or prototype weapons or alien weapons. That way they don't need to explain why they're there as it is merely a non-canon DLC meant to give players toys to play around with.
But it isn't. Reservation, Gecko, Bright Brotherhood, Dayglow, Charon, Dean Domino. None of these are affected by either long-term or lethal masses of radiation. Like I said, there are too many things contradicting this theory than there are that support it. Every time we have a feral with a backstory to them the cause for feralness would be insanity, not radiation eating away at their brain. Just cause ghouls, especially ferals, are attracted to the warmth of radiation doesn't mean that it is the cause for it. The only 'evidence' towards ghouls turning feral because of radiation is maybe that doctor/scientist fella in Underworld in Fallout 3, and since Fallout 3 has quite a lot of inconsistencies with previous lore I would take whatever he says with a truck of salt.
Alright I can understand that point, although there were/are weapons made at the instuite, that Id love to see.
If it is a technological marvel I'd expect to see quite a lot of cool new energy weapons, maybe we can finally get mass-produced tesla/pulse weapons (I think there are far too few of those in Fallout).
Fallout 4 needs a Mega Liberty Prime like Bethesda originally wanted, which if i remember correctly was suppost to be large enough for the main character to ride along in it's head
all I just saw was Power Rangers lol.
i want to be able to rob someones entire inventory, rather than just getting 1/10 of it when i plunder their store.
