Me too; though honestly I'd prefer the method used in http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj125/Gizmojunk/Animation2.gif [and it's in realtime!] to anything seen in TES/FO3/NV.
Continuing from above: But if it's given that FO4 will have the lock pick minigame, I'd prefer the best of Oblivion crossed with Vampire and FO3, and have a http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj125/Gizmojunk/lock4.gif that hides the tumblers initially, but becomes more informative as you raise the PC's skill at picking locks.
Well, knowing that the mini-game is not going anywhere, I would personally like many systems. I don't think there is only 1 type of lock so naturally there shouldn't only be one way to unlock everything. Some locks could be like the ones in oblivion while others can be like the ones in Fallout 3/skyrim and maybe some can have a new system.
keep in mind there are 2 countdowns. that kind of lends some credibility also. I mean, if it's some troll, of fan thing, then no one is going to give a rats [censored] after the first counter runs down there wouldn't be any point in a second reveal if you loose your audience after the first.
It'd be cool if it was audio of two people speaking being revealed tommorow. Sorta like the conversations that follow the end of MGS game.
I'll take a LOGO,if it pops up and looks identical to the REGISTERED BGS logo for FO then I will call that proof, since if it is a hoaxer, and they did that, then Beth would have to step in and get all legal on there asses.
All the tumbler locks would be the same; it's just how they present it that I found strange ~especially when you compare it to the hacking minigame ~~Which I liked, so it's all but guaranteed not to be in there; or at least nothing like it's former implementation.
Safes should be the FO3 style [lockpick mini game]... but with the dial instead the key hole. And keypads should be their own menu as well.

Regretfully, Bethesda can afford all that we need. But they can not afford all that we want.
Did the U.S (or NASA, if there was one before the war) Ever try to explore Space? Did they ever build a space station or anything like that?
Here's all the info about the Fallout version of the US space program. http://fallout.gamepedia.com/United_States_Space_Administration
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/United_States_Space_Administration It just didn't really go anywhere. No space stations found so far. Yet.
But given that its Fallout, I wouldn't be surprise if there turns out to be some sort of secret Moon base that can launch (or DID launch) nukes during the Great War. There are most likely Ghouls up there as well, if you believe what Jason (The glowing one from NV) said of high radiation up there.
The lore states that they went to space, sorta, first man to orbit the earth and return took 12 minutes, but they had the BOMB satelites,so idk if it was serious or not, check the wiki for more detail.
every major city has a subway system, and Arlington was Arlington in name only. trust me, I've been there.
I ask because going into space would have been (or probably has been) an alternative to taking shelter in a vault. Atleast for the super powerful people in the pre war years.
http://fallout.gamepedia.com/United_States_Space_Administration The enclave had plans to take the vault inhabitants (And themselves) into space but abandoned the project, but who knows, they could still be working on it but not for the vault dwellers.
That's Van Buren. It's not considered Fallout canon, but hey who knows? It sounds completely plausible.
I dont know much about van buren, but im guessing a lot of people wish it was here as a game. I didnt know Van Buren was going to involve the enclaves space project. Maybe, if its still an abandoned project, it may be discovered one day.
Probably as a relic of the past but not as a critical plot point. The Enclave is pretty much dead after what happened in the last three games, and there isn't any groups that are willing to spend resources on a space ship to take humanity to another world. It's too "fantastical".
Besides, the timeline says that roughly 400 years after the bombs, the earth will be inhabitable again, given that the radiation would disperse, the atmosphere fixed itself, while plants and animals are given a chance to thrive again without human intervention. So in the context of the plot: why go anywhere?
Hey, you forgot the supermutants. Now I'm offended
Fallout 4 - Van Buren DLC anyone?
I wasnt even asking to go anywhere. Since the project is most likely abandoned, anyone who finds it can use the technology for reasons other than going into space.
