Fallout 4 Speculation Suggestions and Ideas #167

Post » Wed Dec 04, 2013 1:51 am

Totally... Do the reasonable thing and build us another dozen of nuclear weapons so we blow up the planet again... to, you know, purge the mutants.

Oh and remember to nuke the sky this time around as well, just to be sure... those little green men are scheming to take over the planet, you know.

My applogies, but after I was brought the wrong sandwhich by a super mutant,I'm not to happy about them, lol.

Seems like a good idea, but this time I design and run the Vaults,no second stringers.

Thats not at all what i meant, you can use the technology for other than making weapons. Even if its rocket technology its not like there's only one way to use it.

If that salvaged space ship was going to be a Noah Ark for humanity, I'm expecting it to have on board some sort of super-ultimate GECK unit that can create an atmosphere and fresh water sources and possibly a powerful fusion reactor that can imitate the sun. It's the Holy Grail among adventurers and scavengers, and for the people in the Waste, it's the more or less heaven in a box.

And which ever faction that controls it will be the most powerful faction. And when all resources of the Earth has run out, a war will be fought for it. A war which will determine the fate of humanity... or the extinction of the human race. And that will be the very last Fallout game.

Depending on how big the ship is, why not keep it where it is and use it as a city, sorta like rivet city. If their (the enclave's) project never finished its not like its going to go out into space, or needs to. Nobody really knows where the project is anyway, and the enclave probably scraqed the parts to used for those mega, mobile missile launcher/ forts in Broken Steel. Depending on who gets a hold of this abandoned project, it could end up being similar to Lonesome road, where it can serve as a lethal weapon, or like megaton, where if it was used for a big city, it could be destroyed if it had some kind of self destruct mechanism or had a pipe line of fule, at the players choice at least, or be used for something better, like removing any parts of the ship that can cause it to explode.

If the Survivor Site is proven real tomorrow does that mean we will get a new Fallout 4 forum?! I would be stoked.

Given the intended cryptic nature of the site, I doubt it. Likely it will only add more to the frenzy that is being stirred up among the Fallout faithful. The larger countdown might do it though, just about has to tie in to the VGX show to be legit.

About the spaceship, doesn't the page saw its completion/where-abouts are unknown since the project was shelved due to the GW,so in THOERY it could have been completed and ready to go,but they kinda got wiped out,and since it was a SECRET project it was kept quite and was lost to the ages,so to speak,so maybe we could get it in a future game and decide what our fate shall be....

Battle the Mothership Zeta...and send them NONCANON/EASTER EGG GREYS out of this world.

Ide prefer the inter dimensional aliens, but no one listens, but at the same time it may not fit since MZ was an exploitation of the greys. The greys of my knowledge use their form (body) as a vehicle to this dimension in which they can hear, see smell, taste, see, just like many life forms on this earth. Other wise their comprehension goes beyond the 5 senses, they travel in the form of light, not a huge flying metal disk like some people think.

I hate it how people think of aliens (in general) to be just another inhabitant of the universe we exist in and not something beyond it.

Read this and it will all seem inconsequential.

I would like the text box to return, and be fully supported ~even if optionally hidden. I think it could be really neat to have it printing out details in VATS or during skill use, or just proffering a comment about a bed you stood in front of long enough to warrant comment.

I'm under the belief that there are numerious universes and what aliens we have come across are from a diferent universe or diminson, whatever way you can work it.

Perk ideas

Epic B.O.- spending 24 hours in the wastland causes hygiene standards to be dropped and gives player a 10% skunk effect(full retreat or fearing) on indigenous animals and a 5% on other organics, but returning to community locations a 7% cost spike in all sales and lowers the player's selling items value 8% until next rested or well rested

Recognizable Stranger- the player will always be in a state of mistaken identity and it will cause periodic postive, negative and bizzare reactions from NPCs usually preceded with the statement "hey don't I know you from somewhere?"

The Invisible Friend- The player character talks to an "imaginary friend" but infrequent odd effects like another person speaks during dialogue with NPCs and random assistance in combat occur

This would be awesome. Actual mental conditions that we can role-play, and have an actual tangible effect in game-play, lol.

If in the the Institute, they could have you willingly/unwillingly take part in an experiment that leaves you schizophrenic.[or some other condition] It could vary from voices in the players head,[sometimes subtle, and sometimes loud and distracting depending on severity] to even hallucinating enemies that distract you fatally when in the middle of a real battle.

Taking medicine will alleviate these effects... but they may also have side-effects and could even be addictive or something...

In NV, I actually used to call my Laser Rifle "Ashley"... Because she "melts" hearts. Get it?

I think it was mostly of because the gun's low recoil and ridiculous damage... Also because of my EW skills. That gun just felt SO good and smooth and... intimate, even. At level 50 VH, I was precisely crippling arms and legs from afar, evaporates Deathclaws with half a magazine like a pro. After a couple hundred hours in, I basically became one with that gun.

Anyone with "NV Laser Rifle" on top of their "Top weapon list" get my personal "Damn Good Taste in Fictional Weaponry" commendation. :ribbon:

Anyway... We should be able to name our weapons, just like how it was with Skyrim's enchanting system.

You can't just name everything, otherwise everything will be named. This weapon should be to you as Mjolnir to Thor, Excalibur to Arthur, Boomstick to Ash Williams, Bianca to Varric, etc...

It should have categorical basis to even allow you to name it. Like after a hundred hours, what is your most fired weapon? How much damage did you deal on it? Did you frequently keep it in good shape?

There should be an achievement or trophy in ascending your weapon. And it should receive extra rate of fire/damage/durability according to how you use it.

Where would you find one in FO1? They had machetes.

They had a http://fallout.gamepedia.com/Katana in the MZ DLC, and they had one http://fallout.gamepedia.com/Shishkebab_%28Fallout_3%29.
