Man, sites down for me now. I think that 13 hrs just may have been a technical glitch.

Guess they need some more time with that concept art.
I would actually like to reach the level cap half-way through the game.
I understand that some people like to feel like they're being rewarded and can keep growing their characters as they play but I just find it annoying. I want to be able to define my character before I reach the end-game content, I want to build her up so that by the half-mark she'll be the way I intended her to be. Let me explain, if I decide to create a character and I have an RP in mind I can't actually fulfill this RP-design until I've met the appropriate level and the longer it takes for me to reach that level the longer it takes for my character to reach the role I created. So if I wanted my character to already be a skilled soldier which left her old life behind after a mission gone wrong I can't actually be that skilled soldier until I reach level 20 or something.
From a player-perspective I understand wanting to feel like your character keeps growing, but from a role-playing perspective it's frustrating when the role I wrote can't be reached until way later in the game. I ended up modding FNV to give me like +100% more exp for anything I do because leveling took too damn long. For me it isn't about having a long journey, it's about reaching the destination early on so I can decide where to go from there (or to put it differently, I want the journey to be about what my character will do rather than building up my character so that she is able to do stuff). Hell, sometimes I even wish we could just start the game at level 10 or level 15 so that if we want to RP a character which is already skilled by the start we won't have to go through a bunch of grinding until we reach what we feel like we're supposed to be like.
But I guess I'll just have to end up modding it again...
I did. I put one of my trash E-Mail addresses into the field and it said:"Your information will be held in the strictest confidence."
i tried the vault 119 and it just says input ur email or whatever
I won't recommend anyone to click the fallout4.xx links or register on vault119 one. They look a lot like "free riders" who only want your email adresses for spam.
So it looks like a hoax to me if it was only an hour from the announcement and is not 13 hours. Seems like "they" are just dikeing with you.
If this was a real company they would have it ready by now and a server that could take the traffic.
Ladies and gentlemen I do believe that we are about to be trolled
such a fake....bethesda wouldn't f up this hard and delay the site by a day
I agree, and the further progression can be done through gear, so to speak. And plot, ofc.
Lol. I wonder if it's because of all the people rushing to the site.
C'mon people. We're talking about the same "company" that can't even patch their games correctly.
When I load up the Survivor page I get a half blue bubble picture with "Survivor 2299" on it, a language box and 2 legal links.
Woah lets not get ahead of ourselves people the 13hours was most likely a glitch take a chill pill!
Keep refreshing every minute or so.. cause it seems like you are the only one.
Beth will announce Fallout 4 at VGA Awards, site is a hoax...
unfortunately your probably right. I think we just got punk'd
I disagree. Obviously. I wouldn't play the game if the progressive systems were decidedly capped out prematurely. That happened with Fallout 3, and the instant it happened, I needed to rush the main quest (not that there was much worthiles to attend to anymore, though) because everything just suddenly felt even more stale than it had before. I'm just not that much into a generic Fallout themed open world shooter, or open world shooter of any kind.
