Actually it was proven as a hoax, when the original poster admitted to it. But It was such a popular hoax that Bethesda could've easily chosen Boston because of how people reacted to the idea.

Well that was a load of disappointment. I don't think this thread will be back to discussing ACTUAL Fallout 4 suggestion in at least a while. I guess I have better things to do than to discuss further rumors and even countdowns.

The Pitt was a fantastic surprise, definitely my favorite setting in the Fallout so far.

That and The Divide are a great example of The Wasteland getting even more horrifying just when you think you've gotten used to it's brutality.

it is absolutely 100% this. when you spend the better part of a month transliterating morse code and decrypting chunks of text and calling weird phone numbers and talking to a bunch of other dorks about it it's kind of hard not to feel a deeper connection to the game than if you were to just watch a trailer and complain about it on NMA.

The only guy in recent memory to my knowledge that started a fallout hoax and admitted to it had nothing to do with the spotted in Boston rumor.

That was started awhile back on on other sites before that guy popped up on Reddit and made up some tidbits after hearing the boston rumor like the rest of us.
