But even the Fallout 1 manual describes it as a wrist mounted computer.

Yeah, I kinda had a hunch about that (don't have Fallout 1 manual anymore, but there was this strange itch I wasn't sure about in the back of my head ). Anyways, it doesn't really bother me if it really was (and was to be) a wristcomputer, what irks me the most about it is the messy and clumsy tab-after-tab-after-tab-shoppinglist presentation.

Talking deathclaws in vault 13 from fallout 2 since there was a ending were they thrive and a peaceful campaign of expansion was launched to claim the surrounding lands even though this ending was cut from the original game but brought back with killap's restoration patch
