Fallout 4 Speculation Suggestions and Ideas Thread #99

Post » Thu Dec 13, 2012 10:23 am

This topic is for ideas and suggestions for Fallout 4 so that we can keep all the discussion in one thread. At moderator discretion, threads about specific and distinct topics as they relate to FO4 and the rest of the Fallout series may be acceptable in the Fallout Series forum. General idea/suggestion topics for a future Fallout game will either be closed, or moved to this one.

This thread should be used to discuss items you'd like to see in a future game, gameplay tweaks, quest ideas, things you hope are not in the next game and so on. If you want to discuss major issues, use a separate topic - such as the discussion about adding multi-player or co-op play, which already has a thread. Please search first to see if there is an active/recent thread on a particular topic.

Continuing from the last thread, you could enslave people in vanilla Fallout 3 - no DLC was needed. And you did get negative karma for doing so (-100 for each person you enslaved, if memory serves).

When it comes to buying slaves your reputation should play a factor. Slavers aren't going to sell to slaves a goody two shoes who has a good rep with anti-slavery factions. So this means that you should have a low reputation with anti-slavery factions in order to buy slaves. Which would just make your rep lower in the eyes of the anti-slaves.

But you could be given the chance to let the slaves go. Letting slaves go (when out of sight of others) will increase your karma and reputation with some anti-slavers.

Now if you want to be a slaver you should be marked just like you are in Fallout 2. Which means your rep is super low with anti-slaving factions. But they could add a quest that will let you redeem yourself. But if you do you can't go back to being a slaver.

Make it so you can't buy a slave and then turn around and sell them back for profit. Each slave will have a mark of the slaver group that captured them. So you can't buy a slave from slaver X and sell them to slaver Y.

Unless they add a thing were you can level up your slave in combat and sell them to an arena. That would be great

Could have an earned trait called "Slave Master." You are renowned throught the wastes for your skills at training slaves in the art of gladiatorial combat. Your reputation increases with slaver groups and you can sell slaves for greater value. But your rep with other factions have gone down even more. It is unlikely you can ever be redeemed."
