Doc bags fully heal all your limbs no matter what your Medicine skill is...thats overpowered.

Not really, crippled limbs don't do much.

If they gave you full health and a bonus to your health too it'd be OP but as of now I do not think so. Just make them about 1/3 as common.

Well, I have a pet peeve when it comes to games. If I can't see at least my character's legs when I look down it bothers me. I hate the feeling that I'm just a floating camera, that bothers the hell out of me in Beth's games. Although for Skyrim, it wasn't terrible since they added in head bobbling, but I hope they take that extra step and include the feature for Fallout 4.

Only on casual mode, I think its functionality in hardcoe mode is much more balanced. It depends on your Medicine skill how much it heals, it can either heal one limb up a half or all of them by a very small amount.

Idea: Multiple start points like dragonage

Im not sure how many people here have played dragon age but I think different starting stories are brilliant. They could have 3 or 4 different starting points each starting scenario has a different start and ending. This would also affect the end game scenario and different dialogue options during the main quest line and any possible DLC. you could have someone from a vault someone from a survivalist group and someone from a rogue military group each with their own perks. I also like the idea of being able to play as a ghoul and supermutant etc either through in game actions or as an alternate starting point a community of ghouls or a community of super mutants after all this is an RPG and these options should be relavent.

idea: law/lawlessness

Alot of people had problems with new vegas after playing fallout 3 because there is some form of civilasation. on this topic in fallout 4 if their was to be some form of controll/civilasation it would be awsome to have the ability to break down the civilasation and sent the wasteland back into the chaos straight after the bombs were dropped and likewise have the ability to turn an chaotic wasteland into a civilisation founded by you. this would follow on with the ability to form your own faction to do this (this is very broad).

idea: G.E.C.K. (far fetched)

there are many mods out there that people have created like a personal fallout shelter or a building that they had built which they could operate from in the wasteland. There is a mod out there that lets you build up your wasteland settlement mod i think it's called (realtime settler mod?) im not sure. but you can do it in game without the know how that you need to use the geck program. and this is my third idea something similiar to forge on halo reach/3, for those who don't know what that is look it up on youtube. I think it would be awsome to have an option to build your own shelter building and place where you want in the wasteland. this option would be similiar to what bungie did in halo a seperate thing from the game but which you can decide to load into you game. This would also allow console players to feel like they have some ability to modify the game even if its just building their own fallout shelter. Its also pretty cool being able to build your own shelter with your own armour locker and weapons locker etc. This could possibly be an endgame feature to stop people making shelters during the main quest line that might help them too much. or just block the ability to load into the game untill the game is finished. I understand this is very far fetched that bethesda would go to all this effort, but being able to build your own building or fortress in the middle of the mojhave or dc wasteland to fend off all the ghouls and raiders would be awsome. even more awsome would be to do it with your friends but theres already alot on multiplayer. Creating stuff is adicting if you have ever used forge on halo reach before you will understand or if you have ever played minecraft where you can create anything you will understand.

I know the last idea is a bit far fetched but i just think it would be awsome.

In New Vegas you can do just that. You can help the Legion win, which would turn back the clock in the Mojave to Roman times. Or you can help Mr.House win which will create a "new space age" type era for the Mojave. Can help NCR win which will, make it part of NCR. Or you yourself can take over the Mojave.

The Bombs fell over 200 years ago. Time has moved on.

Yes but I am saying you can do that in New Vegas. I agree we should be able to keep doing it in Fallout 4.

How about the ability to make enemies surrender and possibly even turn them good (or evil depending on your karma)?

Also, robot mods.

The ability to make them run away would be good. I am sick of being attacked by raiders with a baseball bat when I am in Power Armour and holding a minigun. Making them good because I have good karma though, I am against it just seems stupid.

i believe that Karma should have and affect on your luck. Bad karma would incur a -1 luck penalty per x amount of points below neutral while good karma would give you +1 per x amount of points above neutral. I feel like the current karma system isn't as effective as it could be.

But that would be unfair to evil people and would favor good people even more.

Unless they gave more payoffs during quests for evil people

What exactly is one going to do with a surrendered enemy? And why would a good person turn bad just from an encounter with the PC?

One more suggestion I think would help is if they made the game more party based for combat. Hopefully it would help with getting rid of the Elder Scrolls with guns thing.

Like Mass Effect with it's party wheel? I'd love that.
Simple and easy way to boss around the slaves.
As long as we don't actually get to "play" as the companions, that'd ruin immersion, roleplaying and setting a lot.

I'm not sure if your being sarcastic, cuz it's hard for me to tell with text but I agree with that, it would be kind of awkward with the way Beth makes their games and the whole first person thing.

1. I don't see Marcus traveling into the Midwest, or anywhere else really. As far as we know, Jacobstown is as good as it gets for him and the other Super Mutants from the Core Region. It would be dumb if they added him into FO4, just because of his status.

2. Any of the Master's followers would be LONG gone by now, doing other things. There's quite a age gap between FO1 and FO:NV, and even more so when FO4 comes around, so no need for any Master followers.

3. We've already learned of the events of FO1, a long time ago, before FO3 even came out.
many new players dont know anything of FO1 events so that would be for them, and i didnt say masters follower, i said a descendant of one

The Master's followers were supermutants and supermutants are sterile.

And there would be the Mutant Liberation Army in the Mid West due to hundreds to thousands of supermutants migrating there after the defeat of the Master and the Unity by the Vault Dweller.

Yeah, I like to see my own legs too. I was a bit sad when L4D2 was released and they had removed your legs from 1st person view, it was there in the previous game!

I'm pretty sure the Fallout 1 ending slides said they broke up and moved to different parts of the wasteland, never talking about there past again.

1. There are plenty of tidbits and things in New Vegas, that give newer players something from FO1, like Nightkin for example.

2. Like I said, they'd have split up years and years ago, off doing their own thing, after the Master was destroyed. Just like the Super Mutants have done.

3. Look at 2, for your answer to the Children of the Cathedral's outcome. They're not around, with the same beliefs, they're doing other things.
