I want a A rating, cut out the pandering to children with the game.

Won't ever happen. With how well the franchise has picked up, an AO rating would kill the income for Bethesda.

Do stores even sell AO games? I've never seen one.

I believe they do, you just have to ask them to get it. Not like they are going to keep them on the shelves for kids to look at. The Big Box stores like Wal-mart won't but smaller stores would.

I have only ever seen one A rated game, and I know it didn't even have any nudity in it. I forget the name but one of the chicks in the game was 17 at the time the game was made.

Definatlely cut the pandering to special interest groups and make the game mature not just teen but theres blood so it gets a mature rating.

Better writing

Add in the Reservation and born ghouls

better death animations

Yea I actually played NV first then FO3 and then played 2 and 1 after them to see what all the old timers were always going on about and yes I did enjoy the mature writing those games have .

Another thing I liked was there being bigger consequences for your actions in the game for example fkin around and wasting time often failed you quests. I was throughout finding myself wishing that the newer games should have had writing like this. If they are finicky about the language offending someone they can have a setting to turn it off just like hardcoe mode.

Also, I hope for a better karma system, faction reputation system and when I kill someone and no one saw me do it.. I just didn't do it period!!!

Mark Morgan as composer of the soundtrack for FO4. Seriously. As much as I like Iron Zur's (name?) soundtrack for Fo3 I felt some of his compositions were kind of out of place. Sometimes I could be wandering the wastes and start hearing soothing flute music. His combat music was on point though.

Heres what i would like to see in the next installment to the fallout series:

1. Hopefully new engine
2. At least an attempt to keep the lone wanderer as the main character once again. On some new adventure. I guess maybe he thought he did enough for the capital wasteland so he decided he would move either further east or west... Or ronto ( Toronto)...
3. Bandana to cover your face in the game
4. Execution kills

If the lone wanderer were to move east, I'm just thinking here... Could he go to big cities such as new York or Boston? Or have they been obliterated...

Anyway moving on...

5. At least some type of vehicle that you are able to drive.
6. New factions, to fight or join. A rebellion against someone big whether it's the ncr, the brotherhood etc. And of course you would have the choice to join or destroy them.
7. Giant spiders (I'm not saying that because of skyrim, I've wanted giant mutated spiders since 3 after I saw the scorpions)
8. World war II style weapons
9. The ability to command your followers like tell them to go flank a sniper or something like that you get my point
10. Cover system ( idk I've always loved cover since rainbow)
11. Better dismemberment on enemies, I don't like to shoot a soldier only to have the head fly off rather than blow up
12. Mercenary work, kill this guy, protect this convoy, you know.
13. Dual wield
14. A jail system, if you get caught doing bad things you'll go there... I understand that they're is no capital punishment anymore, but the world should make attempt at least.
15. If you have a follower they should be able to revive you should you go down in a fight. I know this is turning into a shooter but it's just a nice add in with the whole rpg feel.

Thats really all I'm thinking would make a great fallout game... IMO of course:)

I think they could add a lot more 'physicality' to the game, without degrading the RPG aspects. just because you can perform actions that you'd see in games like call of duty, doesn't mean you can't also have level systems, crafting, dialog tress, exploration etc.

- have an alternative VATS mode that functions like the original combat systems in 1 and 2, pick where to move, when to shoot etc...
-There should be a 'quick menu' option to pull up the pipboy ingame (no pausing), hit M to pull up just the map I to pull up just the inventory, etc. maybe even have the quick menu screens extremely condensed so in the inventory you only see your 'favorites' (visually in third person it would be picture in picture, in first person, you see the screen at an angle like the dude was checking his watch).

I agree about the alternative vats mode, but I think the whole pausing when you pull up your pip boy thing provides a little breather especially in intense firefights. Like what's your next move, how will you use your vats in that situation. Then you un pause and perform.

Well they can make it a great rpg and still put a cover system. Look at mass effect. But if they do end up putting a cover system then they should definitely make it a little easier to die. You know what I'm saying.

I'd be ok with that as long as the cover isn't convienently placed everywhere. Maybe the ability to duck behind a car quickly to hide from a super mutant firing his minigun, but nothing like gears of war, where there's just cover lying all over the place.

I like that idea, like being able to dive into a rubble pile away from fire, or even windows to hop into to hide from a far more superior enemy than you. Like if you have no ammo whatsoever... Instead of going into third person, and turning the camera to make sure the enemy is gone.

Also I've been thinking... Wouldn't it be cool if you could hug a wall and around the corner a raider is walking your way, so you wait for him to come close and you execute him and hide him.... Almost like deus ex human rev.

For the most part I don't want to see new factions, I want to beable to talk my way out of situations with raiders or bandits. This would make speech a more valuable skill. Become friends with anyone, a generally more interactive world, destructive environments like battlefield, a cover system, better shooting mechanics so when I shoot 3 feet next to a tent to bullets go where I aim them, and shooting through light cover.

Now's the time to innovate and renew, and throw the boring twitchy FPS/TPS gameplay away and replace it with a more tactical and slowpaced approach with more character driven results in combat. Away with backpedaling and circlestrafing, no popamole coversystems, etc. Make the combat more situational and something that requires preparation and tactics (other than redying stims under a quick key, choosing your weapon, and choosing your ammo, and then blasting away like a maniac while running furiously backwards).

I liked Project Nevada's simple yet effective solution for eliminating the back pedal tactic. It just severely decreases how fast you can move backwards.

Never tried it as I tend to not use gameplay altering mods. But anyways, I'm suggesting bigger changes that just that alone.

i was thinking why dont they add a small flash light insted of the pipboy and also in order to sneak in the dark theres should be an option to completly shut down your pipboy i cant imagne someone sneaking in a dark street with the glowing screen and buttons in his or her pipboy theres a catch to this if its off you have a little sneak buff but in the same time you must switch the pipboy back on in order to use it lets say theres a 5 seconds delay when doing so.

I'm not saying gow cover just if you need to for a tactical situation. Like I said instead of running behind a wall, going third person, then turning the camera to see the enemy

Thats not a bad idea. However most people who will play fallout do not have patience for this so it would not work. I'm not calling anyone out on here but there are some people who just want to run in and kill everything and don't give a f**k which IMO is not how fallout should be played even though you can do this

1. Being able to choose "burn victim" as your skin color, and then you get Joshua Graham type bandages to put on (or not, your choice). Sorry if I offended anyone with that :ermm:

2. Having a list of character presets at the character creation screen from previous fallout games to choose from like Dean Domino, Three Dog, Joshua Graham etc era

3. Letting you equip and un-equip the pip-boy you get (if you're not wearing it you would just get an ordinary inventory screen)
