Fallout 4 Speculations, Suggestions and Ideas

I think it'd be pretty cool if when you help a place you can see improvements.

Lets say ou play a mission for a small town's militia that's fighting the Commonwealth. Against all odds they took the Commonwealth's closest bunker and you have to guard a caravan there to give them supplies. And after you complete the mission and you go into their storage closet you actually see a lot more food and a few more weapons. That'd make things feel more real.

I hope that in F4 you can actually start a caravan or work for one or actually become a contributing member of society. How can almost everybody else in a town have a job except you?

I also really hope the game world is atleasttwice the size of F3 and NV (It annoyed me how in NV the entire eastern part of the map was just raised flat land, why can't we go on Legion turf?)

That sounds cool to. Jordanman13, my thought exactly

Yout know what would be awesome? Mutated birds. You can see birds flying over Megaton and crows in NV but there should be giant monsterous eagle type birds.

Well mutations in Fallout don't follow the "monster" formula without a good explanation, but yeah when I think of a mutated bird I think of one that has lost all of it's feathers, regained it's sharp teeth and is basically like a dinosaur except with no tail and a mammal like skin.

But yeah since birds seem to have no mutated too horribly, like most dogs, I'd say leave mutations of birds alone unless there is a good explanation for the mutation.

Mutated birds, got me thinking of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terror_birds. Pre-historic flightless carnivorus birds up to 10 feet tall, hunted and ate small horses.

Also How about mutated Emus that escaped from Brookfield Zoo

Got me thinking of the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYyZfME5XYY&feature=player_detailpage#t=135s from Heart of Darkness :)

Or maybe the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYyZfME5XYY&feature=player_detailpage#t=201s from the same game.

That swamp monster is frightening... It'd be almost impossible to kill that thing at a low level but fun as hell!

Aw man, I forgot Heart of Darkness! And yeah, 200+ years on, some crazy mutations could exist. I'd be totally cool with an actual Godzilla appearance, rather than just a reference.

I think halfnaked unarmed Graham vs Gojira would be more interesting, would be unfair towards Gojira though.

I had an idea on the Faction Idea thread about a faction called the Red Rebellion (actually jordanman13 came up with the idea, I just added the parts that will be bolded to it)

They are a faction of slaves whole broke free from the Legion and began liberating other slaves. They are communist and eventually took over a good chunk of Legion territory on their own, causing them to become a full fledge country called the Red Marxists. Just an idea though.

I was reading about the Commonwealth (again) on the Vault and found that it said the Institute might be the Institue of Massachusets but on another page it said it was rhw Institute of Massachusets, which one is it?

If the game does take place in the Commonwealth then there better be terminator references in it damn it.

But here's a faction idea Located in Fermi lab there is a group of ghouls that were scientists before the Great War and they managed to rebuild some nuclear technology and can produce power armor, laser, plasma and guass guns. They are under siege by the Enclave or BOS in the area. You can either help them by taking out the BOS or Enclave and help them restore society in the Great Lake Wasteland or destroy/enslave them for one of the other factions. Thery're biggest rivals are a group of former vault dwellers that believe that nuclear power and technology need to be completely forgotten and automatically kill people that sell or equip guns that use microfusion, electron pack, etc.... ammo.

Yeah but we need more and not in a game that was kind-of non-canon except of major events

I want more referential dialogue for WW, like the Princess Bride dialogue for the R O U S's with Lady Jane, I would love to come across some kid named Connor and go through a few lines of the Terminator 2 script with him, or perhaps come across some completely regular dude, and... like this:

*Engage Dialogue with Wastelander*

Guy: What do you want?

Player: You've gotten a lot farther than you should have, but then you haven't met Frank Horrigan either.

Guy: What? Who is that?

Player: Your ride's over, mutie. Time to die.

Guy: Wait hold on! Who are you talking about!?

Player: Me, Frank Horrigan, that's who. United States Secret Service. You aren't going anywhere from here.

Guy: Hold on man let's talk about this!

Player: We just did. Time for talking's over.

*Dialogue ends and Wastelander flees*
