Post » Mon Feb 01, 2010 8:30 am

If you want the alpha, copy it over the beta file.

How do you download the alpha? every time i try to download it, it tells me the server is taking too long to respond.

Still no way to obtain the alpha dll. That should change in the next 24 hours though. I once again have a real computer and access to the stutter remover source code, but my ftp server is currently a brick. Probably I'll stick the ftp server software on to this computer and/or upload alpha dlls to fallout3nexus.

Yeah, my stuttering is at 70-80 percent reduced and 90 in the DLC's!

I just installed this, since I am now heavily laden with texture mods. And it does help. :) Just enough so that I am not getting big jerks all the time. Still get them now and again but not so severe.

I have a single sr_Fallout_Stutter_Remover.dll on my pc, but I don't know wich version it is. Must be one of the latest though... Any idea how to get this out? If it happens to be the latest alpha I'll upload it.

Well, ok. I uploaded the files here: http://www.file-upload.net/download-2018433/Stutter-Remover.rar.html

I just noticed that the stutter remover postet on the nexus is 169kb while my version is 172kb, so chances are that it is a newer verion. I can't tell for sure though.

No problem. Only tip I can give is to check the path you put the files in: Fallout 3\Data\FOSE\Plugins
(and use the newest version of FOSE.)

Works like a charm for me.

there, i used the one that says stable of those FOSE, got the other one beta now and it generated the ini file and works.

Gonna stweak alittle

i see the:

iDefaultSpin1=500
iDefaultSpin2=500

is saying is for multicore processors, i use an quadcore so would be nice to know how far i can go down in these settings.

Hope this thread is getting more active again

Hmm, my game crashes as soon as I start it up with this plugin active. I get to the menu find, but as soon as I get in game it crashes.

I noticed I didn't have a FOSE folder in data until I got this plugin, not sure if thats normal or not...I have latest FOSE version and all the DLC and src folder is in the main Fallout 3 folder, where the .exe and other non-data folders are located.

when I delete the plugins that come with stutter remover, for FOSE, the game works fine.

I must have done something wrong...hm...

yes, src folder and everything belonging to FOSE should be in your fallout 3 folder beffore DATA folder so that is correct.

Try to delete the FSR .ini file and see if that helps so it can generate a new one like mine did

Edit: my game froze when i loaded it up a couple times beffore i found out i didnt have the latest Beta relsease of Fose.

I got it working, the mod I had, fallout 3 safe exit, corrupted my save file...I went back to an earlier save (like a few seconds earlier), and it works fine.

Yes. That is, I got a bit distracted - I had to catch up on a few things once my computers were working again, and then I installed Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines and played it start to finish a half dozen times.

I've lost the contents of the hard disk that my old FTP server was running on, but I've found a .dll file that looks like it might be the last alpha I released. It's now available at:
ftp://71.115.222.171/sr_Fallout_Stutter_Remover.dll

There is some active development going on atm.
