its Fallout 4 no question about, New Vegas was like Obsidion's way of getting their feet wet in the Fallout Franchise they did a good job. Also i have no doubt that the location will be in Chicago. Gotta say it im only 4 hours away from Chicago. <br /></div>

Oh god, I forgot about the Enclave. If Bethesda brings them back as the main villains again I'm done with Fallout unless Obsidian gets to make another.<br /><br />I wouldn't put it past Bethesda to make them into the [censored] Bowser of Fallout, where we always destroy them, and yet they always somehow [censored] come back just to appease fans. <br /></div>

Just because there's an Enclave presence in Chicago doesn't mean Fallout 4, or any future Fallout game for that matter, will be set there; especially since we've already had a Fallout game set in and around Chicago. <br /></div>

I've thought the same thing: Chicago.<br /><br />Why?<br /><br />Almost every region has been covered. I have not played FO1 or FO2, but I know they take place in California and the West area. FO3 in DC, pittsburgh, maryland, east coast. FNV in Vegas and the Southwest. So I would think the Midwest would be a destination, however the FO wiki says that Chicago was almost completely destroyed in the Great War, http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Chicago , so who knows, could be the Commonwealth <br /></div>

The city of Chicago does not show in the game but still the area was covered. Large parts of the United States is yet to be seen. New Vegas covers only the Mojave and Fallout 3 only overs DC which is a tiny dot on the map. Still the entire East Coast of America. Texas and the Southern States. Still alot of the central states and north western states and South west. <br /></div>

Overall game and game-play content was bigger and better in Fallout 3, in all respects and a masterpiece. Way to go Bethesda!<br /><br />So yes of course there is only one answer ... How it added <em class='bbc'>true</em>ly awful game-play mechanics which broke the game, and further broke it with (appropriately named) Broken Steel? You mean how it made a game which <em class='bbc'>didn't</em> have 70+ hours of game content and dialouge which <em class='bbc'>was</em> included with the vanilla game? <br /><br />How the hell was anything bigger, if anything it was dwarfed completely in terms of quests, locations, and <em class='bbc'>original</em> plotlines.<br />Fallout 3, in all respects is a <em class='bbc'>disasterpiece</em>. Way to fail, Bethesda. <br /></div>

Fallouts, its more of a shooter then a RPG IMO<br /><br />With all respect Bethesda, hope to see something better in TES V and FO4 <br /></div>

Way to go Bethesda!<br /></div></div><br /><br />:rofl:<br /><br />I'm sorry, I just... nevermind, you wouldn't anyway. <img src="http://gamesas.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><br />Evolution in graphical presentation, perhaps (I can agree on this as the scenery is spot on - despite making no sense with the timeline of the series). But otherwise it was stripped from everything that made the originals good. It needn't necessarily even have been made ISO/TB (though that would've been my preference, and no doubt much more faitful to the series and better RPG gameplay). FPP/RT would've likely worked fine enough, if they had paid attention to detail (on other aspects too than just the scenery) and even attempted to stay true to the series, and not just shoved in a list of names and mascot and a rehashed storylines from the original Fallouts inside - you're so loving this... <img src="http://gamesas.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /> - Oblivion gameplay and concept.<br /><br /><br />Anyway, on topic, the numbers don't really matter anymore in my opinion. Looking at how Beth handles its games, the next Fallout will not continue the story of Fallout 3 (or New Vegas) in the same way Fallout 2 continued the story of Fallout, so it doesn't really matter if it's called Fallout 4, 5, 6.5, or Fallout: [<em class='bbc'>title</em>]. <br /></div>

I'm pretty sure that there was an official statement that the next Fallout (#) game will be Fallout 4. Icba to find the link atm, but I'm like 99.9% certain of this. <br /></div>

yeah, it's been called "Fallout 4" since I started coming here anyway.<br /><br />Bethesda aren't finishing the FO1/2 storyline, they rebooted and are doing their own, Fallout 3, Fallout 4 etc. The reason Obsidian were given the chance to do the "New Vegas" spinoff was because of all the people asking "Where is/what happened to Van Buren" etc. So they brought those devs in to finish up that story for you. Don't expect FO4 to be a sequel to New Vegas, like FO3 it will be in it's own place, in it's own time. <br /></div>
