Fallout series is meant to be in America only. It's unlikely.

Cheddar. They could've hid in the caves and eaten the cheese. Makes sense.

Welcome to the forum. There is a topic for where people want the next Fallout to be. You are in the wrong section: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1175896-official-future-fallout-locations-suggestion-topic-5/

Lets keep it in America folks, I wouldn't mind going to Mexico or Canada in a dlc though, just not a whole game.

Why do Americans always lump Canada in wit hteh States? You do realise Canada have far more in common, culturaly with Europe than with the USA?

Just because the Fallout has traditionally been set in The USA does not perclude it being set some place else. in fact it could add a freshness to the franchise because it appraoches the world from a different perspective.

Seriously why the resistence to a non US centrist perspective?

In the Fallout world, Canada was annexed by the USA, so it IS part of the United States (in Fallout). Hopefully though we'll get to see more of Canada in future fallout games. I'm sick of desert and tents. I want snow and trees and such (Jacobstown doesn't count) :)

Fallout UK would have to be in a city really. London, most probably. And that brings the same problems that Fallout New York would bring. And I'd rather play Fallout New York, to be honest.

I'd love to play Fallout: Milton Keynes. The city of tomorrow as imagined in the world of tomorrow! Imagine how Science! would've built a new town. It would be approximately seventeen thousand times more interesting than Fallout: New York.

It would be cool to see new areas but I dunno if they'd really place a Fallout game in the U.K. since it seems to be based on 30-50's Americana. I would like to see a nuclear winter type scenario though.

A major part of the setting is American 50's sci-fi. I wouldn't mind a spin off but I would prefer if it stayed in the US.

I don't think it's really worth it. You'd have to remove many of Fallout's icons such as Vaults and power armor if you wanted to set it in another country, and by the time you're finished removing all of those icons you might as well start a new series because beyond the retro futuristic look, SPECIAL, and possibly Ghouls, it'll have very little in common with its predecessors.

I wouldn't mind seeing some official short stories, novels and whatnot set in other countries in order to learn to what is going on in places like England during the events of the games. A full fledged Fallout cRPG set outside of the US though? No thanks.

It's unlikely that a Fallout game will be set in the UK or anywhere outside of the US in terms of a country, sadly. It would be nice to get more information on what's happened to countries outside of the US in the Fallout universe after the war though, since there's only been a little information.

Being in Scotland I'm curious on what happened to Scotland in the Fallout universe, was it nuked out of existence? Is it still around and struggling to rebuild? Or is it the same as it is here in the real world - A hive of smackheads and drunks who worship overpaid drama queens who can kick a ball?
Yes, I do love being Scottish, very much so. Oh look, my sides have split from laughter.

When you say America, you can also mean the continent. And in the Fallout universe, Canada is annexed by USA.
I'd like to see Canada in Fallout, because it would be the closest to Sweden I'd get in a Fallout game, with the chilly weather, similar health care system and whatnot :) You think it will be just as good after the bombs has dropped?

Fallout has a certain style that doesn't work with Canada, The culture of 1950's colliding with 50's style science fiction. It doesn't work in Canada, or Europe. Not in a way people in those countries would recognize. Why the resistance to keeping the continuity of the series?

What would a ruined city of Canada offer that a ruined city in the U.S wouldn't. And be specific no generalizations or listing monuments.
