There's several multiplayer communities still about. Hamachi has a few, and last I heard there was also a couple of gaming "networks" that still supported it.

Hi all, just thought I'd let you know about a new multiplayer network I've created for playing Fallout Tactics (and its demo) online called GameRanger.

Basically, GameRanger makes it quick and easy to play your friends online.

It has full lobby support for over 500 different games and demos (including Fallout Tactics, of course), without the hassles and headaches that usually happen with network connections (eg. routers & firewalls).

I'm really excited to be releasing it, and hope it helps boost the Fallout Tactics community by allowing people to play that were unable to until now due to problems with opening ports, etc. The more barriers that can be removed, the more likely the community will stay strong, as new users won't be put off. You should find it far simpler than Hamachi and GSA.

You can download it at www.GameRanger.com

There's a way better place to play Fallout Tactics. It's made by some people that used to play on GameSpy and it's called COOPnet. You can download it from http://www.goatzilla.tk/. The community is usually around from 12pm - 4pm Eastern. Everyone's friendly, there's no ads, and we have tons of maps.

Edit: It's not gay like GameRanger.

I haven't personally used either of them, but I believe COOPnet has a larger active playerbase. That being said, both of those quotes are about 4 months old.

That's the FOTM attitude of net gaming sometimes for you. I should pester my friends to install FO:T and play it though
