I'm thinking it could have been connection differences Like i said mine isn't to great so it could be throwing things out of whack.

Boradam why don't you and Styles try and see if it is the case

My connections been bad, it's been dropping in and out for a few hours so I can't test it.

Theres a scroll of things on the bottom left on it's windows box, look for Tactics and hit multiplayer.

I see it, I push Multiplayer, but I get error

Page cannot be displayed, or something. Same thing if I push Singleplayer. Is it conflicting with Steam, maybe? But I've exited Steam.

Ok I've found some more info, Seems that starting with Vista and above, Microsoft discontinued support for IPX drivers. So that pretty much guts old game multiplayer.

Yep, and if you run in compatibility mode it doesn't work online at all.
