So I've been playing Fallout since 2008 when Fallout 3 was released. Ever since, I've always had it on top of my games pile. It's simply my #1 favorite game! Love New Vegas as well, just liked 3 more since it.. Seems slightly bigger.
Anyways, back to the topic.. since I've gotten my third generation iPad, I've thought to myself in the subway, car etc.. couldn't this thing handle the original Fallout 1, 2 or tactics? I mean, it has a dual core A5, which is sort of like an Intel Pentium 4.. and quad core graphics, which is not too bad.
I think Bethesda should do a remake of one of those titles (or the entire Fallout Collection), mainly because:
-It'd be really fun, and it'd not only show the consumers of how great the game is, but it'd show those who haven't played the game the possibilities in the game.
-it'd mean big money for the developers. Price idea: $9.99 (USD).
-it'd also make Apple show interest for this company and could also be an asset for future titles, etc.
It could be really fun. It may be difficult, but it'd be totally worth it. Also worth mentioning, you guys might already know that Rockstar Games made a remake of GTA 3 for the iPad, iPhone etc.
So it's not 100% impossible. just my thoughts. Let me know what you think!
Sincerely, another Fallout fan (eagerly waiting for Fallout 4), Mike.
