Fallout 1 Tatics

Post » Sat Sep 27, 2014 8:06 am

I just started to play Fallout 1 again. I haven't played this game since it first came out in the 90's. And, I am having a difficult time learning how to play it all over again. My biggest problem is that I never seem to have enough action points to do much of anything. I certainly cannot use VATS, much less heal myself during a fight. So, I am constantly getting killed. I know this sounds cheesy, but I am wishing I could cheat. I am so at a loss? Can some please enlighten me? I would appreciate it immensely. Thank you.

Give your character more agility for starters.

Perks such as Action Boy and Bonus Move will also help.

Create a character with better agility. Agility in the original Fallouts is a really dangerous attribute to skimp on. You can do it if you know what you're doing but if you're not experienced with the games I would strongly recommend having at least 7. If you really want to have an easier time in combat 8+ doesn't hurt.

You can also turn down the combat difficulty in the game options.
