No doubt it have fine special effects, but there is just too much plot in Fallout universe to fit in two hours. None of the games could be fit into movie without dramatic content cutting and creating a new plot will bring the dinosaurs from their graves and start the apocalypse.

If you didn't know there was a fallout movie in the works but got cancelled.

But would we really want a fallout movie? I mean yeah it sounds cool but then again we have the Mad Max series, A boy and his dog, Six String Samurai, The Road and many more.
And seeing how fallout makes so many references to these post apocalyptic movies people, mostly movie critics won't see originality.

Actually there's a lot.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dystopian_films#Post-apocalyptic but I have no idea why Ultraviolet is there, I watched a good portion of the movie today and it was Science Fiction not anywhere near the Post-Apocalyptic genre unless it does a complete 180 when I stopped watching.

I mean it could be made into a movie, ignoring the facts that it will be divided into episodes and film limit it'll probably have to be an action movie probably due to the fact that most of the comedic references in games have to do with other post-apocalyptic films, books, ect.

And fallout without is comedy can be dull.

As CompassNorth said, this has been in the works several times in the past, but never got very far.

This could be really good if the right director got a hold of it. Terry Gilliam comes to mind, though he might not be the best choice.

As far as length of content goes: they said Lord of the Rings could never be done...

At least he's not Uwe Boll.
