I finally got my grubby hands on a copy of the game from my local Target, never again will they nor Walmart get my money but that's something else for a different topic. It's the newest release for Vista.

My question is- does anyone else with it get graphical issues forcing restarts in FO1? Like pixels showing up as miscolored? Is this a problem with the general emulation?

That's a common problem with Fallout 1. The quickest fix is to alt-tab back to your desktop, and then click back into the game - that ought to refresh the display and get it back to normal again. Sometimes you might have to do it a couple times before it takes, but it's always worked for me.

Turn down your color quality to 16 bit, if possible, that should prevent the color problems.
