Fallout trilogy help

Post » Tue May 26, 2009 11:06 pm

I got the fallout trilogy for Christmas, put it on my wife's laptop and was playing fallout one. I got my own laptop a few days ago and I've been trying to copy my old game file from fallout 1 over to my new computer. the problems is I can't find it. I've tried copying all of the files from Program file\gamesas\Fallout and Fallout 1.3.4. I've looked in my saved game folders I'm completely out of place I can think to look does any one know where I can find it. I did a search and couldn't find but incase I'm just blind and missed it if you can shoot me a link to where I can find it that'd be great. If anyone can help me I'd appriecate it.

You might wana look under Black Isle or gamesas in program files or program files (x86) but I would not recommend moving the complete file to another computer only save games and do fresh install on the new computer and place the save games in that folder. Image

the new install doesn't have black isle just the gamesas and there is no where in the fallout file(or fallout1.3.4) that is called save game or anything like it. the closest thing is there is a data folder on the first page but it contains the folders Maps, scripts, sound and text.

Fallout does install to a different folder than Fallout2, though I don't know why, since it installs from the same DVD. I had to search for Fallout in the gamesas folder, while Fallout2 went straight to my Games folder.
