I am thinking about buying the fallout trilogy but before i do i have some questions
1. how much memory does the 3 games take together?
2. can i re-download these game on a different computer?
3. do these games run well with vista?
4. Approximately how long is the download time?
5. Can i play fallout 1 while fallout 2 downloads?
6. do i have the option only to download 1 of the 3? since i do not have that much memory.

The Fallout Trilogy is a DVD product that is purchased in retail stores.

You can download the different Fallout games separately from places like Good Old Games:

http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/fallout/

1. how much memory does the 3 games take together?

Fallout 1 is 506MB download, Fallout 2 is 580MB, Fallout Tactics is 1.5GB. What kind of memory are you talking about here? RAM or hard drive space?

2. can i re-download these game on a different computer?

I'm not sure to tell you the truth. It depends where you download it from.

3. do these games run well with vista?

Mostly, yes. We do have people who have problems running the game, but usually some compatibility settings (under Properties->Compatibility) fix things up.

4. Approximately how long is the download time?

The download speed will depend on your net connection. The file sizes are listed above.

5. Can i play fallout 1 while fallout 2 downloads?

I don't see why not, if you order them separately from GOG.com.

6. do i have the option only to download 1 of the 3? since i do not have that much memory.

Yes, you can purchase them separately.

Right-click the Fallout icon, and select Properties. Click CHANGE ICON. Select the new icon.

That guy is Tim Cain. When Fallout was developed, one of the programmers snuck that icon in. Back then, no one used the larger size icons so it was an easter egg.

I personally always got a kick out of seeing Mr. Cain gracing my desktop for Fallout. I bet he had a good laugh haha! Image
I told the Overseer of Vault 13 I'd give everything to save everyone, and so I did, I saved them all. Since then I've felt loneliness.

Hello,

I am also interested by fallout trilogy and I have another question about this game :

Is it possible to play with a high resolution or do I have to download a special mod for that?

Thank you for your answer.
