Fallout Trilogy System Reqs.

Post » Thu Nov 11, 2010 2:41 pm

The first time a played a fallout game was f3 on xbox, and I am strictly a console player, but I have decided to make an exception and try the originals. I have two computers I may install them on, one hp pavillion laptop and an hp pavillion slimline desktop, both purchased last year. Will these work?

PS I obviously don't know much about computers so my knowledge of RAM and such is a little shaky.

Well, considering how old the games are, I doubt they won't work.

Ok I just wanted to be sure before I bought it. Also, if anyone could advise me on whether buying the trilogy at a store or downloading the games seperately, I would appreciate it.

I guess its personal preference really. A lot of folk here swear by gog.com, some folk don't like the idea of buying something without physical media.

Mozilla Firefox has higher system requirements than Fallout 1 & 2 so...
The only problem you might encounter is with the colors. They might suddenly turn rainbow or the screen will go black. There are plenty of topics of how to solve that problem in this forum.

I don't think you bought an antique pc more than a decade old last year. So I'm pretty sure your computer can handle it. But if you wanted to see the technical details... well here they are! ;)

Installation troubles? This is the site for all your problems: http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/
Use the search button on the NMA-forums though. Members don't take it kindly when you double post topics! You'll be dipped into the Vats before you'll know it! Lolz...

The Fallout series are great laptop games btw. Enjoy!
