I just got the UE of NV and loaded it up on the PC. my computer more then meets the recomended reqs to run. I am already having severe framerate issues and I am lvl 2 and have not even left Goodsprings yet. I quit the game and now I guess the save file is corupt because when I hit continue it does not load (not responding). I love all TES and fallout games but Why can't I just play them without constant problems. Please help.

1.5 tera HD

I'm not sure if this is a solution you want but you could try installing via Steam. Retail copies can be installed by Steam if you have an active Steam account online. Also, try loading a save instead of using Continue. I always use Load Game instead of continue. Using continue feels funny.

What kind of framerates are you getting? If your getting the infinite loading screen you can try to start a new game then load your save from there.
