ok they stated that you wake up 200 years after the nukes dropped. I was kind of curious if anybody knew what year they dropped? More specifically im curious about the timeline with fallout new vegas? Is this based after the New Vegas timeline or before?

the Great War starts in 2077, with the main portion of Fallout 3 taking place 200 years later in 2277. New Vegas should start roughly 4 years later in 2281. Presumably this would place Fallout 4 into the same time as Fallout 3, only you'd be 400ish miles away.
