Fallout Video Chronicles - Adventures in the Wasteland and B

Post » Sun Dec 04, 2011 5:03 pm

I need to ask - which mod adds the classic Fallout ambient music? I didn't find the original F3 music much interesting and having the good ol' tunes back would be great!

You can get that http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46297. It's essential for my game really, because the original music, as great as it is, just has an Elder Scrolls feel to it and not so much a Fallout feel.

I think the funniest things about your vids are just your voice when you say things...for instance...when you were in the super duper mart and that girl just comes out of nowhere and your talking..ya cant help but burst out laughing...lol :P

Not sure what you mean by "less skilled content", but there's plenty of commentary, alright.

Hey, could you please PM some information about the system you are using?

I've exhausted Fallout 3 Vanilla on my 360 but would like to re-experience it with mods to bring it closer to the original series. I don't have much money so im looking to get an idea of how much i'd have to spend to get a rig up that could run it somewhere in the middle area.

Can't really watch your vids at the moment but im sure by this time tomorrow i'll have seen a good few and can actually provide some comments rather than just a request :)

I've actually updated my second post with my system specs. I also have the system specs in my actual YouTube channel.

As far as I know, Bashur uses http://www.fraps.com/. I've been it using it, too, actually. It's pretty awesome piece of software.

Bashur, when I click link to part 35 it redirects me to the YT homepage (aka video not found). Weirdly enough, it plays fine when I open it in your channel.

Thanks for the heads up, fixed. I haven't a clue why it did that.

I've updated the list, and I'm also up to 86 subscribers. As I said in a previous video, I have a great idea about making a MOD with a vault full of all of my subscribers. I would start working on this once I reached 100 subs (Because I'm a stickler for a nice , even number), and each one of the people in the vault will have the name of one of my subs. So if you're interested in being part of this mod, don't forget to sub!

Thanks guys, for the continued support and kind comments, really means a lot to me.

I'm currently going through a ton of crashes, trying to figure out what's wrong before I can even continue.

I couldn't resist and installed my FO3 GOTY again, got TONS of mods and the game kept crashing every 10 minutes or so, randomly. That's why I stopped playing Oblivion, I wanted to play it so badly with all the different mods (FCOM mainly), but all I did was that instead of playing the damn game, I was solving problems. With FO3 it's kinda the same, except I found a way to minimize the crashes a bit. I used FO3Edit's master update function, play in windowed mode and http://www.pdsys.org/blog/post/2009/02/07/Fallout-3-VideoDisplay-Freezes-sound-keeps-going.aspx. The crashes are minimal now but there are other problems...

EDIT: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/page-100562_25_50.html. It MIGHT help.

Because I'm having so much trouble with the crashes, it's pretty stressful. I'm really really trying to get this stable again, I REALLY don't want to start over.

Fiddling around with FO3Edit might help, Bashur. And if you didn't have time to read my bit of advice from the previous post, go ahead, it's pretty useful.
