Fallout 3 Vinyl Soundtrack

Post » Tue Mar 15, 2011 3:43 am

So I just noticed that the RDR soundtrack sold out super fast. Of course the Bioshock 2 vinyl soundtrack is quite popular as well, but why not Fallout 3? So many people love GNR. What if you could listen to "Way Back Home" and "Butcher Pete" on vinyl? Wouldn't that be awesome??? I think this could be a big money maker for Bethesda. But we all know that they svck when it comes to merchandising :sadvaultboy: So I'm not expecting it to happen. The cover sleeve could look like the record that Three Dog would use. It would have the GNR logo and have Three Dog's name written somewhere on the sleeve. Dunno, just an idea. I wish I could head Beth's merchandising dept. They could make some major dough if they actually released any of this stuff.

I think they released it on cd, didn't they? Vinyl would be cool but so few people own turntables that it wouldn't really be cost effective. I'd buy a cd copy over vinyl any day of the week for the portability factor.

I feel like such a sell out. My record collection brought me so much joy yet I haven't listened to any of them in years. Damn you, Itunes and Rhapsody!

If you count three licensed songs and two score songs I guess they released it. I was just saying vinyl because the RDR one sold tons more then the RDR CD. Besides, it's old songs, so why not use what they were originally recorded onto? Just seems cooler to me.
