You are correct.
But you also fail to realize that many posts were deleted before you saw them and made this reply. The deleted posts are what I addressing.
Most people see a small portion of the really disruptive posts, because we remove them before they get attention. But we often leave a post explaining why they vanished, so people know what is not tolerated.
If you see a moderator posting about bad behaviour, you can assume that posts were deleted and that we are not just jumping to conclusions.
We don't delete posts saying "you are wrong" because there's nothing inherently wrong with that. But when someone is doing it to disrupt the forum, we step in.
Anyways, a normal thread was driven to negativity for no reason, so it's done.
